Antigua #38, 41. Fine/Very Fine mint Hinged examples of the 1912 issue 2sh violet and green "Seal of the Colony" (watermark 3) and 1913 issue 5sh violet and green GeoV high values. 2024 Scott US210.00 = $283.50 $75.00
Australia #1/255. All used and all different collection of 187 almost all different 1913 to 1953 period issues, all neatly laid out on Hagner brand stocksheets. Nice mix of Kangaroos, George Heads and commemoratives. 2024 Scott US$949.85 = $1,282.30 $90.00
Australia #18. Fresh and Fine mint 3 Hinged/1 Never Hinged block of four of the 1914 issue 6p lake brown "Kookaburra". This is the first Australian "Bird" topical! 2024 US$460.00 = $621.00 $95.00
Australia #66-76. Complete mint Lightly Hinged set of the 1926-1930 George V "Heads" issue. Vibrant colours throughout, a very respectable set edging towards 100 years old! 2024 Scott US$270.75 = $365.50 $130.00
Australia - Small filing card box with a fascinating mixture of 20th century issues, haphazardly sorted into glassine envelopes and then put in the box in a seemingly random order. There is some obvious value and other potential value throughout. The obvious is modern face value, including 1990’s complete booklets - about A$85.00 in face value. There are also a number of glassines with mint issues 1980-1995 - conservatively estimating A$100.00 face value. There is some earlier material, like mint Explorers to 75c and revalued 5c on 4c QEII booklet panes which could help round out your collection. If you are looking for potential, there is a small handful of King George V "Heads" envelopes holding wholesale used quantities perfect for hunting down cancels or printing flaws. We noted a bit of similar material from the Aussie States too, plus there are glassines with mint and used covering everything in between. It will require your patience to pull this all apart to make sense of it. Estimate = $140.00 $100.00
Barbados #70, 193a, 290/584. Very Fine mint Never Hinged duplicated selection/stock, all housed in one fat green stock book, all blocks of four or souvenir sheets. Apart from a couple of individual early blocks, the stock consists of almost all complete sets from the 1966 to 1982 period. A very useful lot for the Barbados or British Commonwealth dealer. 2024 Scott US$876.95 = $1,183.90 $90.00
Barbados #94, 193b. Two better definitive issues in mint Never Hinged blocks of four consisting of the 1904-1910 issue 1p carmine (wmk 3) and the rare perf 14 x 14 printing of the 1938-1947 GeoVI issue ½p green. Rare and superior quality multiples of key issues. 2024 Scott US$430.00 = $580.50 $80.00
Barbados - Postmark / Postal History based collection. An interesting array of postmarks, postal history and literature as compiled by a studious collector. Includes over 100 cancels on stamps (including many numeral cancels on the earlier issues), a half-dozen covers or postcards, a study group of the "One Cent" overprinted issues and a 1984 "Postal Censorship in Barbados…" handbook. While the condition is a bit mixed on the earlier material (selected primarily for postmarks), the group overall is very high-quality. It would take many years to assemble something of this nature. Estimate = $250.00 $120.00
Belgium #1/316 plus semi-postals and parcel post. First century collection from 1849-1941 on KA-BE album pages. A total of 526 different stamps, some of the better ones arranged by the collector in black mounts. Noted better sets and singles throughout, including a couple nice looking King Leopold I and II issues, a number of nice tabs, #121 with a CDS cancel, a mint 1925 "75th anniversary" set. The "back of the book" includes nice sets of B28-B33, B69-B75 and a decent batch of early parcel post/railway stamp issues. Condition looks solid and many of the used have clean readable cancels. Estimate = $200.00 $100.00
Belgium #108-122, 122 Shade. Complete used set of the 1915-1920 Albert I / Pictorial issue, series of 15 stamps, with an extra example of the 5fr key-value in a slightly lighter shade. An attractive offering. 2024 Scott US$276.05 = $372.65 $40.00
Bermuda - King George VI "Keyplates" from the 2/- to £1 denomination, awaiting the specialists eye. The stamps in the top row are perf 13, the balance are perf 14, including the two still on-piece. Both 2/6 values have paper adhesion that should easily soak off. The three high values are fresh, well centered and have the lightest of light Hinging. These stamps were selected for their different shades, but we are counting them as the cheapest by Scott, so plenty of upside here (especially if using a Gibbons catalogue). Total 2023 Scott US$463.00 = $625.05 $65.00
Bosnia #45l. The 5k Franz Joseph high value with the compound perforation (perf 9 1/4 at the bottom, perf 10 1/2 at the left and top and perf 12 1/2 at the right). Fresh mint, well centered. Small, unobtrusive hinge remnant and bit of album offset on back. One of the key values, and an eye-catching stamp. 2021 Scott Classic US$625.00 = $843.75 $60.00
British Commonwealth - British Pacific and Antarctic Colonies collections in pair of Stanley Gibbons springback albums (one a green "Senator" the other a red "Utile" - retail over $150.00 for the empty albums alone). Includes Australian (Australian Antarctic Territories, Cocos (Keeling), Nauru, Christmas Islands) and New Zealand (Cook Islands, Niue, Tokelau, Ross Dependency, Penrhyn Islands, Samoa) administered colonies. Most are mint, many of the sets are complete, all housed in black mounts on quadrilled pages (expect the mint to be Hinged, but post 1975 most appears to be Never Hinged). The earlier tend to be a little sparse, but there is good value amongst what is there. Noted some nice overprints on New Zealand stamps, as well as many first sets being represented and the usual attractive topical coverage. A few hundred stamps in total, fresh and well-organized. Estimate = $250.00 $110.00
British Commonwealth - Cayman Islands #162-167, Falkland Island Dependencies #1L28-1L33. Top quality Very Fine mint Never Hinged high values from two early QEII pictorial sets, consisting of the 1sh to £1 high values from the 1962 issue Cayman Islands engraved bi-colour set and the 1sh to £1 high values from the 1954 Falkland Island Dependencies "Ships" set. Unusual to get the top ends of sets instead of the usual low values! Will these stamps complete some collector's album page? 2024 Scott US$194.95 = $263.20 $60.00
British Commonwealth - Collection Section 1: Middle East, North Africa, Mediterranean. King George VI and early Queen Elizabeth collection on "New Age" Stanley Gibbons album pages. In stages it is a collection, or in others a collection remnant. A mix of mint and used stamps, with very easily removed hinges. Includes partial and complete sets, including values up to 10/- or £1, with some "Omnibus" issues thrown in (including the 1949 Silver Wedding). You may see penciled catalogue values penciled in at the bottom of the pages but ignore them as a) they are from 1982 and b) may not represent which stamps are present. We noted Aden #26-27a, #45-46 used, various Aden states issues to 10/-, Bahrain #78-80 mint, Cyprus #155, #159, #181 used, #195-197, #219-221, #229-231 mint, Gibraltar #116-117, 159 used. Great Britain overprints for Middle East Forces, Eritrea #10-12 mint, #12 used, East Africa Forces #9 mint and used, #31 mint, Tripolitania #24-26, #32-34 mint, Morocco Agencies #543-544, #556-558 mint, Oman #26 used, #41, #92-93 mint. Significant catalogue value here and in very nice shape. Duplication tends to be where there is both a mint and used example. No binder. Estimate = $250.00 $130.00
British Commonwealth - Collection Section 2: British India and Indian Ocean colonies. King George VI and early Queen Elizabeth collection on "New Age" Stanley Gibbons and other pages. In stages it is a collection, or in others a collection remnant. A mix of mint and used stamps, with very easily removed hinges. Includes partial and complete sets, including values up to 10/-, £1, or 10R values. You may see penciled catalogue values penciled in at the bottom of the pages but ignore them as a) they are from 1982 and b) may not represent which stamps are present. We noted Burma (revalues and officials), Ceylon values to 10R and perforation varieties, Maldive Islands, Mauritius #220-221 mint, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Seychelles. The catalogue value will add up quickly and the stamps are in very nice shape. Duplication tends to be where there is both a mint and used example. No binder. Estimate = $150.00 $110.00

British Commonwealth - South Pacific Selection. Organized group of New Zealand Protectorates consisting of Aitutaki, Niue, Penrhyn, Samoa and Tokelau. A representative collection from these popular and attractive island issues covering the 1895-1953 period. Mainly mint Hinged but many used as well (some both). The fifteen Samoa "EXPRESS" stamps, shown the last page, are not included in the valuation. While there may be one or two genuine stamps in this group it will take an expert to comment on these. 2024 Scott US$451.65 = $609.75 $48.00
British Commonwealth - Southern Hemisphere / Pacific Islands Mint Collection. A pristine 16-page Unisafe stockbook, filled with mint singles / sets and souvenir sheets (almost entirely Never Hinged). Noted material from Australian Antarctic Territory, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Gilbert & Ellice Islands, Niue, New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, Western Samoa, Samoa, Solomon Islands and Penrhyn. Clean material, most of which looks to be in complete sets. Estimate = $150.00 $65.00
British Commonwealth / Great Britain - A somewhat battered Stanley Gibbons "Simplex" album, filled with homemade pages full of philatelic wonders for the GB / Commonwealth / postmark collector. Starting of with 394x plated perforated Penny Reds, followed by 13 pages of commonwealth postmarks (strength in numerals cancels / Western Australia), over 2 dozen pages of GB Elizabethan Wildings / Machins (well described), revenues, cinderella stamps and British Railway Stamps (the latter quite interesting!). Even after all this, there is a printout of British Railway Perfins (literature) and over 100 (mostly GB) perfins on stocksheets. A great lot for the inquisitive mind. Estimate = $300.00 $210.00
British Commonwealth / South Africa - Stunning "Inter-Provincial" Postmark Collection. A well researched and mounted collection of 185 postmarks on stamp / stamp and piece nearly arranged on Scott album pages and a stocksheet. Collected for "inter-provincial" usage during the August 1910 to August 1913 period when the Union of South Africa was formed, before definitive Union of South Africa stamps were available. During this time stamps of Cape of Good Hope, Natal, Orange River Colony and Transvaal could be used in any part of the South African Union. Fascinating material, with a history lesson at each turn of the page. Estimate = $200.00 $85.00
Burma - Japanese Occupation - First intoxicating group of 21 different "Peacock" overprints on Burmese stamps and officials. Nice condition and lightly hinged and a couple are "signed" by the "President". Don’t let appearances fool you as the footnote in Gibbons states: "Collectors are warned against forgeries of these overprints, often in the wrong colours or on the wrong values". This lot includes denominations, officials and revalues for which these overprints were never recorded. There are double overprints (including in different colour ink), inverts, one overprinted in red on the gum side, and black on the other. We are presuming that these are all forgeries and are a bargain at less than $10.00 apiece. With the original album page. Estimate = $160.00 $55.00
Burma - Japanese Occupation - Second offering of 21 different "Peacock" overprints on Burmese stamps and officials. Nice condition and Lightly Hinged and one is "signed" by the "President". Paying mind to the footnote in Gibbons: "Collectors are warned against forgeries of these overprints, often in the wrong colours or on the wrong values". This lot includes denominations, officials and revalues for which these overprints were never recorded. There are double overprints, inverts, even sideways overprints, one overprinted in on both the gum and face. We presume that these are all forgeries and are a bargain at less than $10.00 apiece. With the original album page. Estimate = $160.00 $50.00

Canada #2, 5. Used examples of the 1851 issue 6p slate violet Prince Albert imperf on vertically laid paper and the 1855 issue 6p slate grey imperf on wove paper. Uneven/cut-in margins on both but otherwise a sound duo. Note the "21" cancel (Montreal) on the #5. 2024 Scott US$2,650.00 = $3,577.50 $525.00
Canada #4, 8. Used examples of the 1852 issue 3p red Beaver on wove paper (small fault at top) and the 1857 issue ½p rose Victoria (sound), also on wove paper. 2024 Scott US$900.00 = $1,215.00 $210.00
Canada #14, 14a Plus Extras Study Lot. The last and highest quality group of 24 used 1c Victorias from the 1859 "First Cents" issue, carefully selected from an old-time hoard that we've been selling over the past few bidboards. Unchecked for shades, papers, perfs or plate varieties. Generally sound and Fine/Very Fine, but expect the odd small fault in a lot of this type. Note a nice range of legible CDS postmarks, coloured cancels and fresh four margin stamps. A great superior quality assemblage of these popular classics, perfect for the student of early Canadian issues. All valued as the basic (and least expensive) type by Scott catalogue. 2024 Scott US$2,160.00 = $2,916.00 $85.00
Canada #14, 14a Plus Extras Study Lot. Used group of twenty 1c Victorias from the 1859 "First Cents" issue, selected at random from an old-time hoard. Unchecked for shades, papers, perfs or plate varieties. Generally sound and Fine or better, but expect the odd small fault in a lot of this type. A great assemblage of these popular classics, perfect for the student of early Canadian issues. All valued as the basic (and least expensive) type by Scott catalogue. 2024 Scott US$1,800.00 = $2,430.00 $75.00
Canada #14/20 Unsorted Lot as received. Mixed condition used study lot of 1859 to 1869 issue "First Cents", consisting of #14 x 2, #15 x 4, #17 (Shades) x 3, #18 x 4, and #20 x 2. While you can expect some faults, none of the stamps have been checked for shades, papers, perfs or plate varieties. All valued as the basic Scott listed types. 2024 Scott US$2,155.00 = $2,909.25 $160.00
Canada #14/840 Plus Back of the Book Collection. Mint Hinged/Never Hinged and used 1859 to 1970 period collection, all laid out chronologically in a red "Unisafe" brand stockbook. Note lots of Small Queens, Edward era issues, GeoV and GeoVI dollar values, Officials and more. Only valued up to 1960, with the balance (up to 1979) not counted in the total. Condition is a bit mixed (some mint no gum or other faults) so take a good look at the scans to determine value. 2024 Scott US$6,059.00 = $8,179.65 $170.00
Canada #15. Unpicked and unresearched old-time "offered as received" group of 29 x the 1859 issue 5c "Beaver", all still hinged on the original quadrille album page. Unchecked for papers, perfs or plate varieties. Excellent potential for finds. All valued as the basic Scott listed stamp. 2024 Scott US$ 1,087.50 = $1,468.00 $220.00
Canada #15/199, C1-C9, CE1-CE4 plus other Back of the Book. Collector's used stock from 1859-1932 neatly arranged within envelopes sorted by catalogue number within a small box. While somewhat sparse in the QV period (likely less than 100 stamps), the group then "gains steam" by the Edwards before being full-bore into the Admirals and George V issues, with likely a couple thousand stamps in total. Strength in the Admirals, George V, "Back of the Book" issues (including 5 examples each of the 50c Bluenose #128 / $1.00 Parliament #159). Unchecked for postmarks, of which we saw plenty of premium cancelled stamps. First time on the market, collected in the 1940's and saved by the family in storage since. Estimate = $250.00 $140.00
Canada #15/273 Plus Extras. Old-time "Canada First" 2-post album (Stokes Company, Toronto) containing a mixed condition (expect some faults) mint Hinged and used 1859 to 1950s period collection. Sets include #141-148, 149-159, 163-177, 195-201, 211-216, 217-227, 241-245, 249-262, 268-273 plus a decent range of "Back of the Book" material. Owner's 2024 Scott US$1,355.00 = $1,829.25 $55.00
Canada #15/411. A single stockpage of mint and used collector's duplicate better items, offered as received with plenty of better items such as #53 (plate number pair, NH stamps, Hinged in selvedge), #71 (Lightly Hinged pair, slight gum bend) and 5x "Dollar Values". Expect the mint to be Hinged (a couple no-gum), but overall condition is quite good. Owner's approximate Unitrade catalogue value is over $1100.00 which looks reasonable to us. Estimate = $150.00 $55.00
Canada #21, 21a, 21c plus Varieties. Selection of ten used ½c Large Queens, including perf 12 x 12 and 11½ x 12 perf types. Noted a wide range of papers but all valued as the regular paper type. Unchecked for plate varieties. Catalogued as 8 x #21 and 2 x #21a. Lots of upside for the Large Queen student. 2024 Scott US$820.00 = $1,107.00 $240.00
Canada #21/103. Mixed condition (expect some faults) mint and used lightly duplicated selection of 1870s Large Queen through 1908 Quebec Tercentenary issues, all laid out on Hagner stocksheets. 42 Canada #22, 22b. Group of seven used 1c brown red Large Queens, one on thin paper. Five of the stamps have legible dated postmarks (great for your Calendar collection) consisting of: May 26th 1868; September 1868; June 8th 1869, June 17th 1869 and July 22nd 1869 (faults). The other two stamps are Very Fine with very light cancels. A very useful offering. 2024 Unitrade $1,050.00 = $1,417.50 $90.00
Canada #23, 23a Study Group. All used selection of nine x 1c yellow orange and seven x deep orange Large Queens, generally in sound and Fine condition (expect the odd small fault). Note a particularly wide range of sub-shades and a useful sampling of cancel types including CDS and corks. Unchecked for papers or other varieties. All conservatively valued as the basic Scott listed stamps. 2024 Scott US$3,545.00 = $4,785.75 $350.00
Canada #23/30 Two-Ring Group. Used group of 56 Large Queens, 1c to 30c values. All selected for the 2-ring numeral cancels (some more legible than others). A few faults to be expected but note a good range of different post office numbers, including some scarcer types. All conservatively valued as the basic Scott stamps only. 2024 Scott US$5,705.00 = $7,701.75 $575.00
Canada #24 Reference Lot/Calendar Collection. Carefully researched and precisely identified study of 42 used examples of the 2c green Large Queen. All sorted for shades, perfs and papers. While the odd fault is to be expected, you will appreciate the accuracy and detailed effort made by the collector to properly classify this group. The lot includes clearly dated 1868-1872 period CDS cancels as well as Unitrade listed varieties. All valued as basic stamps by Scott Classic catalogue. A useful reference lot. 2024 Scott Classic US$4,200.00 = $5,670.00 $425.00
Canada #24, 24b. Twenty-four used examples of the 1868 issue 2c green Large Queen, on Scott listed regular or thin paper. Note small faults on a few stamps. Unchecked for shades, plate varieties or paper sub-types. A good study/dealer lot. 2024 Scott US$2,400.00 = $3,240.00 $230.00

Canada #25 Trial Colour Plate Proof. Rare trial colour proof on card of the 3c Large Queen, in a shade of red very close to the issued colour. These proofs were "working proofs", used to clean up any plate flaws and to use as colour keys for the printers. This proof was most likely placed in a printer's production binder (note glue residue on the corners of the reverse). Typical small faults at right noted for the record (small tear, surface scuff, adhesive residue). Listed in "The Essays & Proofs of British North America" by Minuse & Pratt as catalogue #26P9. Estimate = $350.00 $55.00
Canada #25, 25b Study Lot. Selection of 48 used examples of the 1868 issue 3c red Large Queen on both the regular and thin papers. Mixed condition (expect a few faults in the mix) but unchecked for paper sub-types, shades or plate varieties. Valued as the basic Scott listed #25. 2024 Scott US$1,920.00 = $2,592.00 $260.00
Canada #25a. Used example of the 3c red Large Queen on watermarked (E. & G. BOTHWELL CLUTHA MILLS) Bothwell paper, showing the entire "ILL" of the watermark. A mix of mint and used up to QEII, with used Small Queens to 10c, 1c-5c Jubilees and a couple of attractive mint Admiral coils. The GeoV and GeoVI issues are fairly complete, missing only a few random items, with the higher value items typically being used. The Elizabethan era is fairly complete for basic issues, with the higher denominated stamps. The "back of the book" features a decent showing of airmail, special delivery and postage dues. Overall condition is a bit mixed, with the mint early issues are typically hinged (as usual) but there are Never Hinged (including mid-range values) to be found throughout, shifting to almost all Never Hinged for the Elizabethan issues. Besides having a good catalogue value, the face value of the modern issues will add up quickly. Housed in a three ring binder, that could use replacing. Estimate = $250.00 $95.00

A couple with small faults, but overall a very clean offering. 2024 Scott US$585.00 = $789.75 $42.00
Canada #45. Mint Glazed Gum example of the 1896-1897 printed 10c brown red Queen Victoria Small Queen. A fresh stamp, which in our opinion is likely Never Hinged, but valued as Hinged due to the gum glazing. Great colour, a very pretty stamp. 2024 Scott US$625.00 = $843.75 $500.00

Canada #50/374. Collection/accumulation on an incomplete selection of computer-generated pages. There are clear gems and more potential than most similar collections we see. Filled with "hidden value" since the stamps are in mounts, with the collector often sliding in more than one stamp. The mint Jubilees (1/2c, 5c, 8c, 50c are generally heavily hinged or no gum) and the used, such as the 6c have light cancels. There is a complete mint (and most of a used) set of the QV "Leaf" issue. The "Numeral" set has most values mint (faulty) with extra used copies tucked in. The Map, EdwardVII and Quebec sets are all there (again, mixed condition). There is value in the scattered "Admiral" offering and the GeoV definitive sets have some nice lower values and a mix of completeness and condition amongst the higher values. Throughout we noted stamps with perfins, coil pairs and used blocks. Some good "dollar values" including the 1935 issued $1.00 Champlain dollar spot holds which holds three mint copies, the $1.00 Chateau Ramsey (bit of album offset) and the War Issue $1.00 Destroyer Never Hinged (as is a block of the 50c munitions, hinge in the selvage only. 125 Canada #163/467 plus Back of the Book. A GeoV to QEII Centennial "Mint Multiple Mania" being primarily issues from the George VI issues, all neatly arranged on stockpages. Almost all are Never Hinged, with the exception of the two earlier airmail blocks (C1 and C4) which are Hinged on top, Never Hinged on the bottom. Several better items throughout including plate blocks (all the plate blocks here are different, either by position or plate number), special delivery, airmails, coils, QEII Centennial coil "start strips" and an "oddball" duo of pairs (#257 / #268) which give the appearance of imperforate in-between but are actually "blind perf" all the way across. The previous owner's Unitrade is listed at over $850.00 which looks to be accurate. Estimate = $160.00 $75.00

A collector assembled group of premium "socked on the nose" postmark stamps from BC and Alberta Post Offices. Representing the "cream of the crop" from what the collector found, postmarks of this quality and clarity are surely "1 in 100" or better! Some of the towns smaller towns noted are (Alberta) Fort Vermilion, St Paul, Canyon Creek, Westlock and Berryvale and (British Columbia) Port Alberni, Duncan, Port Renfrew and Royal Oak. Throw away the catalogue value on this lot, near impossible to recreate. Estimate = $120.00 $42.00

All neatly laid out on a single Hagner stockpage, giving a stunning 1-page stock of these stamps. We noted that both the "regular" and "aniline ink" seem to be split about evenly throughout the lot. Almost all have CDS postmarks, primarily from Vancouver BC or Whitehorse YT, with the centering also being VF on most. No faults noticed at all, showing this must have been the "cream of the crop" from what the collector assembled. Unitrade is $10.00 per stamp as VF, $5.00 per stamp as fine. 2024 Scott US$7.00 per stamp. These examples are well-above average for used examples of this issue. Estimate = $200.00 $75.00
Canada #245i. All Very Fine centered, vibrantly fresh and CDS used large miultiples of the scarce Unitrade listed aniline violet printing of the 1938 GeoVI issue $1.00 Chateau Ramezay high value. All with Nanaimo BC February 14th 1942 "in period" postmarks (the $1.00 Destroyer was only issued in July 1942). The two large blocks were originally the same multiple but separated at some point. Almost all VF, but with the 50c Munitions and George VI "portraits" low values valued as fine. An attractive group, including airmail, special delivery and airmail special delivery. Collecting the plate blocks of the War Issue is a challenging task, being one of Canada's longest sets (in terms of number of stamps), plus multiple plates used. 2024 Unitrade = $581.15 $110.00
Canada #251/1205, B2, B8, B12. Sporadic Mint Never Hinged Plate Block Stock. A small half-size dealer's "red box" filled with "107" cards featuring mint plate blocks from the George VI era to 1980's, with the vast majority of being GeoVI to QEII Centennials. A duplicated selection, but with a good variety of both plate positions and plate numbers in the earlier material. 161 Canada #297. Complete roll (500 stamps) of the 1950 George VI "Postes-Postage" 1c green coil stamp. Still sealed in the original Post Office outer wrapper "starter" blank perforated paper. These complete rolls are getting tougher to find, now creeping up on 75 years after issue. Conservatively valued as 500 singles, but there is potential for "jump" or "repair" strips within this sealed roll. 2024 Scott US$200.00 = $270.00 $100.00
Canada #298. Complete roll (500 stamps) of the 1950 George VI "Postes-Postage" 2c sepia coil stamp. 165 Canada #302. Post Office fresh mint Never Hinged lower left plate #1 plate block of four of the 1951 issue $1.00 "Fisheries". This is the last GeoVI high value issued and the first GeoVI $1.00 value that most collectors acquire. 2024 Unitrade = $250.00 $75.00

Comes with a 12-page accurate consignor inventory list. The total face value alone is $496.40, with the stamps being catalogued as regular issues, unchecked for paper varieties. 2024 Unitrade = $3,482.35 $230.00
Canada #400/979. Wholesale used and mint dealer’s stock in #5 glassines - sorted by Scott number, including issues separated by Scott number, with Unitrade sub-listings for paper, perforation, etc. Up to about 50 in an envelope. More used than mint, readable cancels seen throughout. Strong sections of Cameo, Centennials, Caricatures, as well as the various printing differences from the late 1960’s-early 1970’s. There is mint scattered throughout, which probably has a face value of $150.00 - but will take some work to pull it all out. The six homemade boxes that hold this material are falling apart, but this is not your usual first half QEII wholesale lot. Because of health issues, the person who built this stock was never able to get this material to collectors, so it is offered as assembled, completely unpicked. Thousands upon thousands of stamps. Estimate = $180.00 $95.00
Canada #519-523, 524-528, 522i, 525i. Each sheet is valued by Unitrade as one centre block, four plate blocks of ten, eight strips of five and sixteen singles. The 6c in the centre block has the "scratch through window" (scarcer and thus worth a 50% premium) and the 5c in the centre block has the "dot between M and A". Each VF MNH sheet is brilliantly pristine and lightly folded once (mentioned for the record). 2024 Unitrade = $564.00 $170.00
Canada #1443-1445/BK148. Investment holding of 50 complete booklets of the 1992 National Hockey League (NHL) "Lightning on Ice" issue marking the 75th anniversary of the NHL. This "prestige" booklet featured 3 oversize panes, one for each of the 3 different designs of this issue. Face value of the mint postage alone is $525.00. 2024 Unitrade = $1,400.00 $300.00
Canada #1535ii. The rare and unissued 90c value 1994 Xmas proposed and rejected rate change, Very Fine mint Never Hinged. Fewer than 1,000 examples of the 90c stamp exist. The Post Office intended to increase the postal rates from 88c but changed their minds at the last minute. Somehow a few of these stamps made it onto the market. Oops! A famous modern "administrative" error. 2024 Unitrade = $600.00 $200.00
Canada #1688-1689, 1691-1692, 1689b, 1692b. Mint Never Hinged assembly of the 2005 issued "White-tailed Deer / Atlantic Walrus" and "Peregrine Falcon / Sable Island Horse" high-value definitive issues. There were only slightly more than 10,000 complete sets of these folders issued in total. Many of the "butterfly" (impossible to find) and "dog" (almost as hard to find) thematics have since been gobbled up by the topical market. These sets have and will increase greatly in price in the next few years. All still sealed in the original Canada Post packaging. 2024 Unitrade = $200.00 $80.00
Canada #2234/2708. Hoard of the low value / make-up-rate "Beneficial Insects" complete mint Never Hinged sheets of 50 stamps (x 69 sheets), with values from 1c to 25c. A very interesting "modern" Canadian issue, which spanned the 2007-2014 period and includes differences in printings, paper / gum varieties and shade differences. A nice chance to acquire a "hoard" of these at once to use as the basis for a "fly-specking" study (pun intended). Considering Canada Post no longer issues these make up stamps, these are likely the last of their kind. Only counted for the total usable postage value, so plenty of upside to this grouping. Total face value = $213.00 $200.00
Canada #2586. Complete Canada Post thank you "kit" consisting of a small presentation box containing two VF condition intact mint examples of the limited edition booklet of 12 of the permanent "THANKS/MERCI!" Truck and Rainbow design Picture Postage stamp, issued on November 30th 2020, ONLY TO CANADA POST EMPLOYEES, plus a thank you card and matching rainbow pin. The booklets are very elusive. While recognized and reviewed in numerous philatelic journals, Unitrade has yet to create an individual listing for this stamp, so we have used the Unitrade catalogue number for the frame design as our stamp reference. Two booklets are perfect for display purposes (front and back). Estimate = $100.00 $60.00

Canada #BK27 English. Complete George V 1935 issued "Pictorial" issue booklet (English), with panes of the 1c green, 2c brown and 3c dark carmine stamps. Stunning "O.H.M.S." usage on registered parcel tag piece, sent from Victoria BC on February 6th 1932 to West Summerland BC (via Calgary & Vancouver RPO / Okanagan Landing and Sicamous RPO). Franked with 5-hole OHMS perfin 5c GeoV Admiral, 2c GeoV Leaf and $1.00 "Scroll" Parliament, making for one of the most spectacular parcel tags we have seen (certainly the best use of OHMS perfins we have seen). Valued only for the catalogue value of the used stamps, but this item certainly demands a premium! 2024 Scott US$675.00 = $911.25 $475.00
Canada #O8-190 Rare Three Position Trio. A "New to the Market" group of three 1931 issue 10c "Cartier" stamps, all with 5-Hole OHMS Official perfins. Premiums have been added as per Unitrade for positions and condition but no additional premium for missing pin in "S", as the editors have forgotten to note this formerly listed detail in the latest Unitrade. 2024 Unitrade = $320.00 $85.00
Canada #O9-226/O10-CE2. An "original find" hoard of several hundred mostly 4-hole OHMS perfin in a small box. This totally unchecked group has not seen the light-of-day since the original collector stopped in the 1950's, with the stamps being held by the family in storage since then. Many higher values including 6 examples of O9-262, ($1.00 War Issue "Destroyer") and 5 examples of O10-CE2 (17c War Issue Special Delivery Airmail), among others. These are largely select examples with many dated postmarks, collected as incoming mail at the time from one of the largest Drug Stores / Pharmacies in Victoria BC (of which the collector was the owner / namesake). We did note that the odd "5-Hole" OHMS or private perfin, but expect these to be 99% 4-Hole examples. Unpicked for any varieties, so a wonderful opportunity to acquire an original find group that will take many happy hours to sort out. Estimate = $300.00 $230.00
Canada #O10-CE3. Very Fine mint Never Hinged Post Office Fresh upper right position plate #1 plate block of the 1946 issue 17c "incorrect accent" Special Delivery Airmail stamp with 4-Hole OHMS Official perfins. A scarce block in choice mint condition. 2024 Unitrade = $600.00 $120.00
Canada - Small Queen Study / Accumulation. Semi-organized selection of well over 1,000 Small Queen issues, 1/2c to 10c value, mint (some), used (mostly) and covers (a few). The bulk of the group consists of the 1c values. The lot is particularly interesing for the wide range of postmarks, including Fancy Corks, Railway Post Offices, Circular Date Stamps (CDS), Squared Circles, Rollers and more. Take a good look at the scans to see if there are any "treasures hiding in plain site". Estimate = $325.00 $240.00
Canada - A massive used wholesale stock filling not one, but two U-Haul boxes. Mostly QEII up to about 1985 and usually sorted into glassines and identified by Scott / Unitrade numbers. Most are sorted into fragile stock-boxes, but there are a few handfuls of "free range" glassines. Appears to originate from three sources. Typically, each glassine has 5-100 stamps each and there are thousands of glassines. A quick check of the 1950’s era material indicated that there are cancels to be explored. About one half of one U-Haul box is slogan cancels, mostly on cut squares and organized by Coutts numbers. Estimate = $160.00 $110.00
Canada - Annual Collections for 1975-1982, 1984, 1986, 1986, 2001, 2003-2005. A mix of soft and hardcover large format volumes. These books are an excellent alternative to purchasing annual album supplements (which often cost more without the stamps included! Total face value of the mint stamps in all the annual collections is $256.44. 2024 Unitrade = $870.00 $130.00
Canada - Annual Collections for 1978-1987. Intact run of ten Canada Post yearbooks, all in VF condition with their original dust covers or slipcovers and containing the mint Never Hinged stamps, souvenir sheets and booklet panes from these 10 years. Total face value is $144.21. 2024 Unitrade = $395.00 $70.00
Canada - Annual Collections for 1989-2004. Intact run of sixteen Canada Post yearbooks, all in VF condition with their original dust covers or slipcovers and containing the mint Never Hinged stamps, souvenir sheets and booklet panes from these 16 years. Very lavishly illustrated and very informative large format volumes. These books are a excellent alternative to purchasing annual album supplements (which often cost more, even without the stamps included!). Total face value of the mint stamps in all these annual collections is $522.34. 2024 Unitrade = $1,310.00 $250.00
Canada - Annual Collections for 1996-2000. Five hardcover Annual Collections (with slipcases) as issued by Canada Post, a complete 1996 to 2000 (inclusive) run of these informative annual albums. Many collectors prefer these books to album supplements. The total face value of the mint stamps, souvenir sheets and booklet panes in the five albums is $165.66. 2024 Unitrade = $435.00 $110.00
Canada - Annual Collections: Hardcover 1987 & 1988. Pristine mint (still in original shrink wrap!) examples of the premium and very scarce HARDCOVER annual collections for 1987 and 1988 (Unitrade #30a & 31a). These two volumes, which Canada Post originally sold for a higher issue price, now often sell for full catalogue (and more). 2024 Unitrade = $135.00 $110.00
Canada - Better than usual box of leftover collections, accumulations and other. Includes older Scott, Jarrett, Minkus and even a "Stokes" album with a mix of various coverage from Small Queens to about 1990. Noted Jubilees to 15c, other QV to 10c, King Edward VII to 50c, with some mint KGVI mint dollars and a never hinged Fish dollar. Between the various collections, a very decent collection or dealer’s stock could be amassed. There is some cancel potential, and the face value of the modern material will add up quickly (noting denominations up to $5.00). We noted a binder of 1960’s new issue announcement folders, a few small folders, ledger or stock books with a large assortment of mostly used material, including some multiples and booklet panes. There is the occasional quirky item like a CAPEX ’87 passport. Value here at every turn but expect a wide range of condition. Estimate = $200.00 $95.00
Canada - Bundles / "Bundleware" within boxes, within an apple box, and enough stamps for every imaginable need. Although this group appears to run from the Victorian era up to about 1990, the strength is in the 17c era of the early 1980’s. We did note bundles of 5c QV numerals, 7c ochre Admiral, 4c and 8c Mufti’s, and some other King George VI issues with cancel potential. The next 30 years are a bit sparse, as is material from 1985 onwards. There are 13 small boxes, most tightly packed with paper-tied bundles of 100, with more commemoratives than definitives. Each box appears to have 12,000-15,000 stamps each, so we are conservatively guessing that there are 140,000 stamps here. Offered as received. Estimate = $200.00 $70.00
Canada - Compilation in Two Cartons. Two cartons containing a basic used collection, First Day Covers and duplicated used stock. The used collection consists of hundreds of different clean Very Fine used stamps and souvenir sheets in a two volume set of Minkus Canada albums with pages up to 2002 (strength in 20th century material). There are over 500 mostly different First Day Covers, ranging from the 1960s up to the 1990s, with mixed private and Canada Post cachets, all housed in eight special FDC albums (these albums retail for $20.00 to $30.00 each). The clean and sound duplicated used stock of thousands is very neatly organized in four stock books (mostly 1970s to 2000s period material). Great range and quality here! Estimate = $500.00 $110.00
Canada - Complete Mint Booklet Bonanza Part A. Pristine offering 77 booklets from the 1980's to 2000's including "greetings", peel n'stick, commemoratives and USA / International rates. A great way to fill in a few spots in your booklet and sell / use / trade the rest! Conservatively valued for the total face value only. Total face value = $308.50 $230.00
Canada - Complete Mint Booklet Bonanza Part B. Another helping of modern intact Canadian booklets, totalling 89 seemingly all different from the 1990's to about 2010 including lots of self-adhesive issues. A great chance to fill in some spots in your booklet collection (likely) at a price less than you would have had to pay when these were issued! Conservatively value for the total usable postage value only. Total face value = $458.31 $325.00
Canada - Early Souvenir Card, Thematic Collection, Annual Collection and First Day Cover Hoard. Large moving box packed with all kind of Canada Post produced collectibles, including the early souvenir cards (Unitrade #1/14), annual collections (Unitrade #15-16), a shoebox packed with all kinds of thematic collections (too many to list) and several hundred First Day Covers. The FDCs, housed in five FDC albums run from 1938 up through the 1970s and include both Canada Post and private cachet makers. The private cachet makers include Cominco, Capital, Rosecraft, H & E, JCR and more. This is a great lot for the Canadian collector looking for the earlier Canada Post products. Estimate = $250.00 $95.00
Canada - Elizabethan wholesale stock on 140 manila stockpages in 4 binders covering 1952-2004. Thousands of stamps, with up to about 15 of a type, well identified, laid out and in clean condition. There could be some finds for the specialist or the cancel hunter, but we will let you figure that out. Most of the pages themselves are fresh, appear to be brand new, and have an outrageous retail value to replace them. A very clean offering. Estimated = $140.00 $85.00
Canada #1250ii. Lower left position Very Fine mint Never Hinged inscription block of four of the 1989 issue 38c Regiments commemorative. Most inscription blocks were withdrawn due to problematic and incredibly poor printing quality. Only one inscription block was allowed per customer and only through mail order from the National Philatelic Centre. 2024 Unitrade = $250.00 $55.00
Canada - Mint and Used 1976-2009 Collection in Four Lighthouse Albums. The face value of the mint Never Hinged stamps in the four volumes is well over $250.00 and the total catalogue value is in the thousands. This lot offers a great basis for expansion. Estimate = $600.00 $525.00
Canada - Mint Block / Plate Block Accumulation Part 1. A 3-ring "Block Stamp Album" binder containing a few hundred blocks or (primarily) plate blocks from the GeoVI to early QEII period (with a few earlier). A good run of both material, including large runs of the GeoV "Postes-Postage", Wilding and Karsh issues with numerous numbered plate blocks. We also noted a some "back of the book", named semi-postal issues and "red" postage dues. Expect a few of the earlier blocks to be Hinged, but largely a Never Hinged offering. A great larger lot to work though, with better variety than often seen. Estimate = $200.00 $140.00
Canada - Mint Block / Plate Block Accumulation Part 2. A Minkus brand 3-ring "Block Album" containing a few hundred blocks or plate blocks 1969-1974, many in matched sets ranging from catalogue numbers #490/644. Unchecked for any paper varieties, of which there are many for this period. Seeming all Never Hinged material. A great lot for sorting out, in search of varieties. Estimate = $150.00 $48.00
Canada - Mint Melody of (primarily) Plate Blocks / Inscription blocks from the 1950's to 1970's within two 32-page stockbooks. A well-organized group of material, all appearing to be Never Hinged. Unchecked for any paper types, as much of this period saw variety in paper florescence. Conservatively valued for the total usable postage value. Total face value = $348.49 $140.00
Canada - Mint Never Hinged / Hinged Plate Blocks. A selection of primarily QEII to 1980 issue plate blocks (with some earlier) arranged within two Lighthouse brand plate block 32-page stockbooks. An interesting, yet inconsistent run of material, which includes many matched sets and a smattering of earlier GeoVI / QEII with variety in plate numbers. Expect much of the earlier material to be Hinged, with the modern modern being Never Hinged. Includes a selection of "Red Postage Dues" not counted in the total. Conservatively valued for the total usable postage value, so some obvious upside in the earlier material / dues. Total face value = $133.33 $65.00
Canada - Mint Sheet Compilation. A premium offering of 10 mint Never Hinged sheets, all selected for being "better" than the standard offering. Includes 1963 Canada Geese (two different inscription panes), EXPO 1970 (two sheets, one with inscription blocks and one "field stock"), 1969 Hermit Thrush (#498 Field Stock), 1971 Radio Canada (#541 Field Stock), 1970 United Nations (#513,514 with 2 sheets of each, "field stock" and inscription "philatelic stock"). The catalogue value adds up quickly on these sheets, which are getting harder to find intact. 2024 Unitrade = $985.00 $180.00
Canada - Old-time collector's duplicate stock QV to 1952 in a "period" small blue spring-back style stockbook with "G.P. Bainbridge 817 Granville St" handstamp in the back (one of the prominent Vancouver dealers of many decades ago). Several hundred stamps here, left untouched, as received from the family which has been storing it since the 1950's. Loads of potential throughout, including betters stamps such as QV, Admirals, coils, War Issue $1.00 Destroyers, George V commemoratives, "back of the book" and Revenue stamps. Totally unchecked for varieties or postmarks (of which we note premium postmarks throughout). A wonderful opportunity for the Canadian collector, a time-capsule of Canadian stamps. Estimate = $250.00 $75.00
Canada - One of the largest wholesale lots of used Canada that we have ever offered, pushing a 68 litre Rubbermaid tub to its physical capacity. Assembled in the mid-1990’s, each stamp is in its own #8 sized envelope (including sub numbers by Unitrade - tagging, papers), and clearly marked with Scott number, denomination, and description of the stamp. There are a few thousand envelopes here, with anywhere from 1 to about 50 stamps each. Although technically going back to Edward VII, the concentration is 1965-1995. On a cursory look, we noticed that some of the 1980’s issues include cut up first day covers, with a number of plate blocks with first day cancels, but otherwise everything seems to be off paper. The mass of this lot is significant, and value lurks for the intrepid sorter. A conservative estimate is 50,000 stamps. Estimate = $200.00 $65.00
Canada - Over a century of used wholesale stock in glassines and #8 envelopes filling a U-Haul box. Nicely separated going back to the 3c Small Queen, up to 1990’s, and not your usual offering. Lots of Victorian issues, including 2c revalues, noted an envelope of 2c Quebecs, lots of Admirals, Chateau, Destroyer and Ferry dollars, plus coils, etc. A quick glance indicates some potential for cancels. Thousands and thousands of stamps here. Estimate = $200.00 $80.00
Canada - Post Office SEALED 1970's complete sheets. A comprehensive showing of 36 mostly different (a few duplicates notes) complete sheets from mid/late-1970's, all still sealed within the original Canada Post packaging. Includes better such as the 1976 Olympic Stadium $1.00 / $2.00 panes and the 1977 QEII Silver Jubilee. All sheets complete with inscription corner blocks and in pristine condition. After many years of being "neglected" these original Canada Post offerings are now finding their place in collections, with collectors finding a challenge in obtaining these sheets "as received" from the Post Office 50 years after issue! Conservatively valued for the total usable postage, but worth (in our opinion) more. Total face value = $219.50 $190.00
Canada - Uncut Press Sheets Bonanza Part 1. A group of 12 uncut press sheets 1996-2019, all still in original Post Office tube. A nice "larger" lot of these limited-edition Post-Office issues. Included are the issues for 2003 Year of the Ram (#1970ii), 2012 Year of the Dragon (#2496ii), 1996 Historic Land Vehicles (#1605z), 2009 International Year of Astronomy (#2323ci), 1998 RCMP (#1736-1737i), 2013 Superman (#2677i), 2019 Year of the Pig (3162ii), 2000 Birds "V" (#1842i) and 2002 Year of the Horse (#1934ii). A nice chance to acquire a large group of these at once. Total useable face value alone being $200.37, with the original retail price from Canada Post being $260.70. 2024 Unitrade = $630.00 $130.00
Canada - Uncut Press Sheets Bonanza Part 2. A group of 11 uncut press sheets 1996-2014, all still in original Post Office tube. A nice chance to acquire a large group of these at once. Total useable face value alone being $267.28, with an original issue price / retail of $352.81. 2024 Unitrade = $915.00 $160.00

Bankers box packed with some mint and (mostly) used Canada, including: clean modern used in a big fat red cover "Unisafe" black page stock book; a dealer red box packed with a decent quantity and wide range of mint and used Canada in dealer "102" style sales cards (probably a couple of hundred dollars catalogue value here); a shoebox containing mostly used Canada on and off paper (saw $8.00 Grizzlies in the mix); a kraft carton box packed with US and Canada stamps on and off paper, black stamp mount strips, a mount guillotine, a 2000 Millennium "keepsake" tin and more; and finally a small white box containing used US stamps in "102" cards. Estimate = $120.00 $60.00
Canada / USA - Collections/Accumulations. Mixed condition, mostly used carton-load of Canada and US stamps, all housed in albums and stock books. The Canadian material is organized in three stock books, one binder with blank pages and in a "SAFE" hingeless album with pages to 1959. The US material is housed in two Lighthouse "SF" (Hingeless) albums and one Minkus "All American" album. Both collections are worthy of expansion and there are enough duplicates to allow club "swaps" for some time. Estimate = $325.00 $120.00
Canada Cancels - British Columbia. Group of 54 choice BC split ring cancels, all dated 1938 on small cut square / piece, as collected as the time by a collector in Victoria, not having seen another collector's eyes since the 1950's. These were likely snipped from incoming mail to a prominent Victoria BC drug store and represent many small communities (and many closed Post Offices), with strength in Vancouver Island postmarks. Some of the better Post Office include Provincial Cannery, Hanceville, Hilliers Crossing, Heriot Bay, Refugee Cove, Marguerite, Castle Rock, Rendonda Bay, Shearer Dale, Palling, Jesmond, Grassy Plaines, Decker Lake, Tupper Creek, Hulatt, Blind Channel and Blaeberry. All neatly laid out on stockpages. An enticing lot for the postmark hound! Estimate = $150.00 $180.00
Canada Cancels - Post Confederation-era Newfoundland town cancel collection on stamp/piece, with significant strength in Centennial issue (didn’t see much after 1990). Mounted on ruled pages, ordered and identified by Post Office with the population of the towns listed. Lots of circular date stamps, a respectable amount of MOONs, some POCONs and machine cancels. We did note a few covers interspersed here and there amongst the 500 items, with some light duplication. Almost all these hammers are retired and many of these Post Offices have been closed. All housed in a red "Stamford" springback album. Estimate = $140.00 $210.00
Canada Cancels - RPO Railway Post Office Accumulation. An unchecked / unresearched FIRST TIME ON THE MARKET group of 297 RPO / TPO cancels on stamp or piece. Untouched for the past 70 years, these postmarks were put aside by a traditional stamp collector back in the 1950's in an envelope labeled "RPO" presumably as he came across them. To facilitate viewing, we have laid them out over 7 stockpages. Some of the notable items are CPR West of Winnipeg, Eastern Arctic Mail RMS Nascopie and "Vic and Van RPO" 1913 steamship oval postmarks x2. Primarily Western Canadian runs (as the collector was based in Victoria), with the quality of strikes being well above average. Great lot for the RPO hunter. Estimate = $180.00 $170.00
Canada Cancels - Small box of "original find" SLOGAN cancels on cut-sqaures. Seemingly all from the WWII era (with the odd USA mixed in), totally unchecked. These were collected at the time, from the mail of a major pharmacy in Victoria BC. One of the owners who was a stamp collector, had the corners trimmed (to keep the whole postmark) and saved. These have not seen the light of day since the 1940's, and while there are some "loose" in the bottom of the box, we left the majority just as packed in the original "brown paper" pharmacy bag (trimmed down to show contents). A wealth of WWII era related slogans and BLACKOUT cancels. Get your Coutt's slogan catalogue ready with this one. Easily over 2000 items (perhaps more). Estimate = $250.00 $130.00
Canada Covers #601/2465b. Group of 9x Uni-Safe "Dual" First Day Cover albums with a good starter collection of cachet FDCs from 1972-2011. Includes mostly Canada Post cachets, but into the early 1980’s there is a good mix of private cachets (and often both are represented). The condition is excellent, with most FDCs being unaddressed. Where there is duplication, it is because of different cachets, or singles vs plate blocks. We noted that there are a number of $1.00 & $2.00 denominated plate blocks on cover (no matched sets). By the mid-1990’s the collection starts to thin out, but there are a few covers from stamps shows mixed in. About 585 covers, not counting the covers with no cachet. Great room to expand, as each album holds over 100 covers each. The total retail value of the albums alone is $225.00. Estimate = $200.00 $160.00
Canada Covers - A philatelic tale of Two Kings. A collector's assembly of 39 covers and 1 piece bearing late George V / early George VI issues. A "well above average" grouping, each item selected by the collector with a keen eye for interesting items. Perfect for any postal historian / cover enthusiast. Estimate = $300.00 $180.00
Canada Covers - Alberta Post Office Collection. One man's project of collecting images (photographs) of the Post Office, primarily from the 1990's, accompanied by a cover postmarked at the same location. Banker's box containing 7 binders filled with pages, which feature 187 covers and 180 photographs from a wide array of both city and rural Post Offices, neatly arranged by postal code with most pages featuring one cover and one photograph to showcase the Post Office. These were all created as one-of-a-kind items, purely for the collector, who was (whether he realized it or not) preserving the history of the Post Office during that period. A painstaking amount of time and money must have been used to put these together, but as with many collections, it was surely a labour of love! Estimate = $250.00 $230.00
Canada Covers - Assembly of 19 covers / postcards and 2 early illustrated cheques, all sleeved and priced many years ago for auction sale. Many better items throughout including registered, foreign destinations and postage due. A cursory look through shows that the pricing is a bit liberal, which may be the reason these did not sell years ago (to you advantage now). Retail / auction estimate pricing comes out to $1110.00. Conservatively estimated at less than 15% of the original pricing. Estimate = $150.00 $140.00
Canada Covers - BC British Columbia Postal History. Waconda BC 1913 split ring postmark on 1c green Admiral stamp dated March 29th 1913. A "new find", which represents 1 of 3 known examples from this short-lived Post Office. There is reportedly another example on stamp, plus one other example recorded (although the location of this other example is unknown). The Post Office was open from March 1st 1913 and closed on November 15th 1913, being open for only 8 ½ months. Included with the lot is a copy of the article from the BC Postal History Newsletter which features this stamp. Estimate = $150.00 $140.00

Canada Covers - FFC First Flight / E3 Special Delivery Franking Group. An astounding group of 26x 1930's First Flight Covers, each franking with the iconic E3 Special Delivery stamp. These seem to all early 1930's "Prairie Airmails" carried on many legs of the flights in Western Canada's "Prairies". 350 France - Collection of mint / used 1876-1958 in a Davo brand hingeless album. Mostly used in the earlier material, before transitioning to a higher percentage of mint in the later issues. An expansive study, with many of the spots compounded with 2 or 3 examples of the stamp. Includes a decent showing of earlier definitive issues, plus notable items such as #127/128 mint (CV $70.00), 414 VF Mint NH (CV $70.00), B147a ($22.50) etc. A spot check shows the mint is mostly Hinged / Hinge remnant to 1955, then Never Hinged going forward. Approximately 1280 stamps, with a catalogue value that would exceed US$2000.00. The album itself has seen better days, but could be fixed up with a bit of TLC. Estimate = $250.00 $120.00
France - Collection on Yvert & Tellier album with pages to 1967. Over 1400 different stamps including "back of the book". A mix of both mint and used (the earlier tend to be used, then progressing to more mint material). The album has been well loved, but it has lovingly protected the stamps, which are generally in excellent condition, fresh and well centered. The owner’s catalogue value by 2018 Scott was $5832.00, a spot check against the 2023 Scott indicates that prices are down 10%, and we are rounding it down a little bit more "just in case". Total estimated 2023 Scott US$5,000.00 = $6,750.00 $350.00
France - First Day Cover accumulation, with about 650 "silk" cacheted, unaddressed First Day Covers issued between 1966-1986, with a few duplicates and a couple are maxi-cards. 355 Germany #402/529, B99/B291, C46/C60 plus other BOB, General Government & Bohemia and Moravia. Third Reich collection with several hundred mint and used stamps, plus a few souvenir sheets all in a bit battered regular Lighthouse album with (damaged) slipcover. Although some key items appear to have been removed many years ago, there is good value here, noting B67 and 2 copies of B104, airmails C55-56, plus a host of individual stamps in the $10.00-$20.00 catalogue value range. The General Government is quite complete, including back of the book issues, and there is a bit of Bohemia and Moravian material. Some black mounts have been added, and there is some duplication where the collector found a shade, se-tenant pair or nice cancel to augment the collection. Speaking of extras, there are about 20 pieces of postal history and postal stationery in the form of Feldpost, civilian and philatelic mail. Although the album would have originally had a significant original cost, because of its condition, we are not considering it in our estimated value. Estimate = $180.00 $220.00
Germany - A banker’s box with the balance of a consignment. Starts with a hingeless Lindner album with 1992-1999 mint Never Hinged stamps, including semi-postals (the printed pages are 1992-1994) and the balance used generic pages - about 400 stamps cataloging about US$500.00 plus an album that would set you back $200.00. There is a small study of a couple hundred stamps with Berlin cancels on Vario-brand stockpages. A near-new Uni-Safe 32 page stockbook contains three pages of mint issues circa 1981 (perfect to help you with your sorting). Next are a couple of mint inflation-era panes and a big bundle of 1984-1990 new issue release "posters" (shows stamp, cancel, lengthy description - a few with press photo), a page of "potential" including some Germany states and post-WWII issues and even saw a few forgeries. A very comprehensive and seemingly all-different group, almost all addressed to a collector in Hertfordshire UK. Strength in the post-2000 issues which is likely an almost complete run as ordered from the British Post Office, including MANY sets and souvenir sheets. Enormous original cost, especially when you start adding up the many "1st Class" or "pound-plus" values. The used stamps alone would carry a significant catalogue value and many collectors have opted to "soak" these as they are often the only way to obtain the used stamps. Estimate = $400.00 $240.00
Great Britain - Officials. Mixed condition used accumulation/selection of 66 Queen Victoria and King Edward VII official stamps covering IR OFFICIAL (27), GOVt. 377 Great Britain - Take a look at every scan in this lot before making up your mind about how much to bid, as organization comes and goes, but high cataloguing stamps are everywhere. It does start with Queen Victoria, sparse up to the Jubilee issue. Most of the Edward VII set has multiple copies, a few pages have George VI and early Elizabethan, but then reverts to George V definitives, often by the score! Then there are some 1924 British Empire Exhibition stamps and a herd of about 50 Seahorses! The lot finishes with more GeogeVI and Edward VIII (with some mint multiples). The only downside to this lot is the 32-page stockbook, which needs some TLC (tender loving care, after being shown a total lack of concern). Thousands upon thousands of dollars of catalogue value and appears unchecked for cancels or varieties. Estimate = $240.00 $200.00

Noted some good overprints and revaluations (including mint #137-138). The "back of the book" is strong, with semi-postals, nice mint airmails including C4-C8 and a good offering of officials including 9 denominations of the 1930 overprinted "Parliament" set. 383 Iceland #130. Sheet margin used block of 25 of the 1922 issued 5a on 16a brown Christian IX surcharge. A lovely large used multiple, with clean Eskifjordur CDS postmarks dated July 2nd 1922. A bit of slight perf separation as to be expected, but also a perforation anomaly along the bottom of the first row (of particular interest). 2024 Scott US$750.00 = $1,012.50 $110.00
Iceland #215/867. A beautiful collection with a few hundred mint and used issues 1939 to 1998 in a 32-page Uni-Safe stockbook with black pages and acetate strips. Lots of Canada, United States, Great Britain, but the reality is that this lot is extremely varied, and we have only starting to mint through the first couple of layers. A sorter’s paradise! Estimate = $180.00 $70.00
Worldwide - A very nice consignment balance in a bankers box, where each of the six stockbooks didn’t quite have the value to be a lot on their own, but together makes for a worthwhile endeavour. There are two stockbooks laid out for a Great Britain "Machin" stock with a few hundred stamps, mostly used, but some mint with face values to £5.00. This group is ready-made for expansion. There is a 16-page stockbook filled with a mix of used GB, Germany, Scandinavia and Japan. A Uni-Safe 32-page block is half filled with 1990’s Latvian issues. A similar red covered stockbook has a smattering of modern used Germany (but the stockbook is in excellent condition). There is an older Lighthouse divided page stockbook with a stock of used Hong Kong up until about 1983. Canada is represented with a dealer’s "show table" booklet filled with pages of mostly early 2000’s blocks that were soaked off of first day covers, and a sealed copy of the "Millenium" collection. Finally, there is a 2-post Lighthouse red binder and matching slipcase and a near complete package of (unrelated) blank Lighthouse pages. Estimate = $250.00 $110.00

Looking at the top layer, we can see the stamps from at least 30 countries. This stash was likely put together around 20 years ago, so there might not be anything from this century. Because there is nothing to keep this lot organized, you will have to fight this lot’s quest for entropy. One of the densest off-paper box lots that we have ever offered. Estimate = $200.00 $180.00
