Albania #47/2638, B1/B31, C1/C63, E1/E3, J10/J41. Dealer’s stock of mint and used on sixteen manila stockpages primarily covering 1914 to 1965, with a few a scattering of material up to 2000. Lots of interesting inter-war overprints with a mix of mint and used. The twenty years, post-WWII, has good coverage, mostly mint, and there is lots of quality "back of the book". The seller has identified each stamp with a little tag with the Scott catalogue number and the 2015 catalogue value (many values have held, a few have dropped). Individual items have catalogue values up to $25.00, and there are up to 15 of a type. Over 1000 stamps and about US$2500.00 catalogue value, not counting the nearly two pages of the 1917 "Eagle" issue known for counterfeits. Not often seen in this quantity and quality. Meticulously organized. Estimate =

Australia #1/856. Nearly complete run of used definitive and commemorative issues up to 1982 on regular Lighthouse album pages with collector added clear mounts, all housed in a red stamped 2-post binder with matching slipcase. The stamps include lots of various ‘Roos to the 2/-, an extensive offering of King George V "Heads" and then a very good run through the next 50 years, with different paper and perforation variants included, missing only the key values. A few issues, especially in the more recent years are mint, as the collector must not have found suitable used copies yet. The pages are near new, the binder has a bit of the usual, and minor, wrinkling. A new album of this type will set you back about $600.00, before you put one of these nearly 800 stamps inside. Australia #94/1162. Two-volume Lighthouse regular album pages covering 1928-1989, with a bit of overlap (the pages for the ‘Roos and King George V "Heads" must be elsewhere). Volume 1 is a 13-ring red binder with pages from 1928-1986. Mostly used and missing just a few stamps after 1940. Volume 2 is a 2-post red binder with pages covering 1983-1989, quite complete, again mostly used, including a few souvenir sheets. A bonus item is a 1988 year set filled with mint stamps. The approximately 1000 stamps have a bit of duplication, especially in the 1983-1986 era. Despite being regular pages, the collector added many clear mounts and you couldn’t tell that they aren’t hingeless pages for much of this offering. The binders would cost you about $100.00 each. There are some minor faults, usually associated with some of the large perforations. Twenty-seven mint stamps (including one pair). Total 2021 Scott Classic US$1301.25 =

British Commonwealth - Old collections in equally old, but very functional, springback albums. Goes back deep into the Victorian era with not much past King George VI. These albums come from a range of collectors, some with concentration in specific areas (we noted pockets of Mauritius, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India, African colonies) and others are a bit more general. More used than mint, with some complete sets and some blocks scattered throughout. There is cancel potential throughout (a partial Canada bag tag has the War Destroyer with a full MPO 604 roller cancel!). A couple of the albums are a bit sparse, but most have lots of stamps, thousands, in fact. And if you need used Stanley Gibbons springback binders and can’t stomach the $100.00 to buy a new just one, this lot might also be for you. Estimate =

Canada #37, 41. Specialized collection of used Canada Small Queens, containing roughly 575 stamps, on 42 pages in a binder. The second part of the lot contains roughly 300x 3c Small Queens, organized into a "calendar" collection, organized by each month. We note a variety of postmarks including squared circles, CDS, split ring, etc., including a few socked on the fully dated town cancels. Canada Covers - Very interesting 1999 Canada Millennium "Art" collection of 68 covers by local Vancouver Island artist Trisha Klus. This isn't your average collection of covers, each stamp in use was cut down from the hardbound book that was issued on September 15, 1999, with some stamps cancelled on the same day, with the majority of postmarks ranging from October to December 1999. Some of the covers received hand drawn cachets and others with mixed-media art or calligraphy, which relate to the stamp design, with most receiving British Columbia postmarks. Cape Verde #1/913, C1/C2, J1/J36, P1, RA1/RA3. When was the last time you saw a dealer’s stock of this popular Portuguese colony? Maybe never, and certainly not as well organized as this one. Mostly classics (e.g. "Crown", King Carlos", "Republica" overprints) and a decent group of back of the book, with not much more recent than 1980. Each stamp is organized and catalogued (2014) by Scott, many with both mint and used, generally up to 10 of a type and individual catalogue values to $20.00. A quick check of Scott indicates that many of these listed prices are low by the 2025 catalogue. Very clean, perfect for the collector or dealer. Crete and Epirus #2/116, J1/J4, O3/O6 and 5/56. We don’t see little holdings like this very often. There are three manila stockpages with a stock of mint and used issues from Crete (saw better such as #80 and #83, and a ready-made study group of the first issue known for reprints and forgeries). Germany #856/1769, B388/B740. Collection in an older Lighthouse album which spans thirty years from 1963-1992. The first section is mostly mint, never hinged, in hingeless pages from 1963-1973. The second is a mostly used run of regular pages (with collector-added clear and black mounts) from 1983-1992 (no 1987) which is 90% complete for used issues. Both sections include a near-complete matching run of semi-postals. Comes in an older springback binder with a "Brandenburg Gate" motif. The pages would cost a fortune, and there are several hundred stamps here with lots of catalogue value. Estimate =

Germany #1432/2105, B628/B896. Part 2: Modern 2-post blue Lighthouse album, with hingeless pages from 1985 to 1999 (inexplicably missing 1985, and there are Collecta hingeless pages and stamps for 2000). About 90% complete, all filled with mint, never hinged, stamps, including souvenir sheets and semi-postals. There is a bit of uncounted material, such as some Frama labels and some se-tenant pairs which are used. There are no booklets or coil stamps. These pages are out of print with Lighthouse, but the total retail for this album would come in at around $600.00. The binder has a minor split on the inside back cover, mentioned "for the record". The stamps have a conservative total 2024 Scott catalogue value of US$1077.55. Estimate =

Great Britain #1300/1585. Album 1: Green Lighthouse 2-post album, with hingeless pages for decimal-era Machins/definitives from 1971 to 1997/99. There is also an assortment of pages covering the Machin regional issues, but with no stamps. Because of the way the collector substituted the annual supplements, there is probably some duplication of pages. The binder has unfortunately pulled out the back posts, due to overstuffing. Great Britain #1300/1585. Album 2: Green Lighthouse 2-post album, imprinted "Great Britain" on the spine with hingeless pages for 1990-1999, and what appears to be a complete run of mint never hinged commemoratives for 1990-1994. The pages are near new, the binder has a bit of usual wrinkling and comes with a matching slipcase. While the stamps catalogue US$212.90, the true value is the album which as-new would set you back an astonishing $580.00!!! Estimate =

There are an assortment of mint, never hinged, stamps up to 2006 (most are denominated, with few "1st", "2nd" or "E" stamps), and there is a bit of early 21st century Machins and regional issues. Great Britain - A primarily 21st century first day cover collection. About 225 different, cacheted and addressed, issued between 2002-2010, plus about 75 earlier to the mid-1960’s (some cacheted, some not). Mostly commemorative issues, with a few souvenir sheets. Seems to be fairly complete. All housed in three modern Lighthouse "100 FDC" cover albums, two blue, one burgundy, and one older green Lighthouse #10 cover album (these albums alone retail over $150.00). Substantial face value here, with an original Post Office cost exceeding $1000.00, plus the albums. The overall condition is excellent. We don’t often see large holdings of such recent material. Great Britain - Large collection / accumulation of mint never hinged Great Britain material in roughly 100 glassines, souvenir sheets, and a few presentation packs. Great Britain - Primarily used collection of Great Britain on roughly 75 album or quadrille pages housed in a binder, ranging from 1840 to 1981. This collection has a little bit of everything beginning with a serviceable penny black with black Maltese Cross postmark (zero margins, Scott c.v. $375), and continues with roughly 60 Penny Reds (Scott #33, unchecked for better plates), along with a few other used Victorian issues, with strength from the 1880’s onwards, including a few mint hinged examples of a few Victorian, Edward VII, and King George V issues. The lot also includes a few examples of overprinted Officials, private overprints, a couple of used Seahorses, Offices Abroad, a few interesting covers, and more, noting a few stamps cataloguing $10 and up. Greece #117/2268, C1/C80, J2/J89, N17/N243, RA1/RA91. A mint and used stock of mostly 20th century material that got nicely organized and then never got a chance to be retailed. How long has it sat? The cataloguing is from the 2004 Scott, and we noticed price increases amongst the better material such as mint copies of #124 (formerly $45.00 now $115.00), #600 (formerly $14.50 now $60.00), RA29 (formerly $35.00 now $60.00). Plus, there are many more price increases out there amongst the 2000 stamps on 35 manila stockpages. Iceland #11/1251 plus Back of the Book. A very clean used mounted collection of Icelandic issues up to 2011 on computer-generated pages, each in a page protector. Starts a bit slowly, but with individual stamps cataloguing up to $75.00 with $5-$40 stamps throughout the collection. A couple of damaged stamps, like #14a - catalogue $500.00 are mounted upside down and not considered in the estimated. There are a few 1920’s revalued issues, seven values from the 1930 "Parliament" issue, and by the post-war period, very few values are missing. In the 1980’s and 1990’s there are also a number of used souvenir sheets. After 2000 the collection becomes spotty again, as the collector was looking for postally used stamps, which are difficult to find. The "back of the book" includes semi-postals, air mail and officials. About 700 stamps here. Ireland - A mostly used collection/accumulation covering 1922 to 2006 on a variety of pages. Japan - Duo of early fold-out 1900’s "Postage Stamp Collections" which were sold (largely) to tourists arriving by steamship to Japan and China around the turn of the 19th century. These fanciful part-stamps, part art assemblies contain a mix of both legitimate stamps / stationery and forged / replica stamps dating back to the first issues. The first folder contains 3 postal stationery postcards and 20 stamps, the second contains 4 postal stationery postcards and 34 stamps. A few stamps have fallen off over the decades, but most are firmly pasted in-place. If the stamps were all legitimate, these would add up significantly in catalogue value. While the stamps / forgeries could likely be removed with minimal damage, these are best enjoyed for the philatelic art they are. Estimate =

Netherlands #1/562 plus Back of the Book. Part 1: Davo album with pages to 1976, with about 90% of the spaces with a nicely added clear mount giving it the feel of being a hingeless album. There is very good coverage of issues from the 1850’s onwards, with lots of $20+ individual stamps, and decent coverage of the semi-postal and postage due issues for this period. Up to 1964, the stamps are primarily used (and most of the better 19th century issues have perforation damage). After 1964 the material is almost all mint, never hinged. About 550 different stamps. There are only about 150 stamps, mostly used in the 1970s and mint in the early 1980s with the last few years having almost no stamps (but there is a stockpage with a few more recent issues). There is a bonus second (worn) Davo binder with empty pages from 1852-1980, many black and clear mounts added, not as clean as the first volume, but the two albums together give you a full country album lot to 1988. New Zealand - Extensive collection of mint and used New Zealand in 3 hingeless PALO albums with slipcases, 1874-2001. This neatly organized collection contains a few thousand stamps, including mint and or used singles, sets, partial sets, souvenir sheets, and more. A spot check indicated a few pre-1900 stamps cataloguing $20 and up, noting just a few better items with Scott #s 145-159 (mix of mint and used, c.v. $238 total, counted as used), 165-170 (mh, $90 total), 288-301 (lh, $179 total), 333-352 (lh, $80 total), 382-404 (lh, $76 total), B3-B4 (nh, $200 total, ownership mark on reverse), along with a few singles and sets cataloguing $20 and up. Niue #120/563, B1/B61, C1-C10, O1/O18. The pages might be titled "New Zealand" but this is an all-mint Niue offering covering 1967-1988. All never hinged in black mounts on Lighthouse pages in an attractive black springback binder (no slipcase). The stamps of Niue suffered from speculation in the early 1980’s, which led to over-production and a drop in demand. However, British Commonwealth collectors are realizing how relatively little of the later material is around, which is coupled for demand from topical collectors (and we noted: flowers, sports, birds, whales, royalty, etc). The condition is excellent, with many souvenir sheets and most of the back of the book issues from this period. If there is a downside, it is that the stamps were not mounted in chronological order, making a full determination of completeness a bit difficult. Binder alone retails about $75.00. Most are Queen Victoria profile issue with some revaluations and there are a couple of "Seal of the Colony" design. Includes better such as #12, 18, 27, 37, 48. South Africa / Precursors and Area - An old-time dealer’s stock on "102" cards which fill about 2/3 of a matching "red dealer’s box". The biggest section is South Africa with a number of mint and used pairs (and some singles) of the 1927-1954 pictorial issue, with individual items with up to about $50.00 catalogue value (by 2024 Scott) and then a mix of issues into the early 1990’s. The South West Africa is a little smaller and tamer, the best being some used pairs of overprinted postage dues. There is some forerunner material, from Cape of Good Hope, Transvaal, British South Africa (with a touch of more northern colonies, Rhodesia, etc.) and some more modern material from Ciskie and Bophuthatswana, There are several hundred cards here and the catalogue value is substantial. Sweden #2/2422 plus Back of the Book. Two volume collection of about 1000 different stamps in green Lighthouse albums with regular pages up to 2001. The first century and a quarter is mostly used and includes a nice copy of #2 and 5 of the 6 stamps from the "Ore" definitives of 1858 and hit or miss coverage including some postage dues and officials. Around 1980 the issues become more complete and more mint than used, and by 1990 the issues are a mix of mint and used, but sparse in places. There are lots of coils and a few modern booklet panes. Worldwide - A homemade album on tall ledger paper, with a good selection of mostly used, pre-1940 stamps (and most are pre-1920). Each page has its own quirkiness, and most stamps are hinged, but a few have homemade cling wrap mounts that will take a bit of time to unwind. The pages are in no logical order, but being a springback binder, this can be easily fixed. Strength is in Holland (including #1-6), Switzerland, Portugal (and colonies), China, Germany, Southern African Colonies, Hungary, Belgium, Spain and more! Condition is definitely mixed and there are some interleaving pages with hand drawn maps or flags. A few hundred stamps with potential and peril at every turn of the page. Estimate =

Catalogue values tend to range in the $3 to $5 area for each item. Overall fine to very fine. Estimate =

Worldwide - Asia - Cambodia & Laos. #1/323, B8/B17, C1/C62, J1-J5 & #1/315, B1/B11, C1/C118, J1/J11. Dealer’s stock from this long-overlooked corner of Southeast Asia. Meticulously laid out, with stamps identified by Scott number and (older) catalogue value (but most are consistent with today’s values). There are eight manila stockpages from Cambodia, with a good mix of mint and used, with both singles and sets, and lots of worthwhile "back of the book". The Laos is numerically larger, being on twenty-one pages. About 2000 stamps here with up to 8 of a type, with individual catalogue values to $20.00, covering independence to 1970 (and a few later). Very clean, with virtually no faulty noted. Perfect for collector and dealer alike, and the catalogue values will add up quickly. Estimate =

Worldwide - Classic worldwide collection, containing many thousands of primarily used stamps, including a few sets, and partial sets, on roughly 110 quadrille pages in a springback album. This virtually unpicked collection generally ranges from the 1880's to the 1950's, with a predominately European flair with better representation from Austria, Belgium and area, France, Germany and States, Switzerland, along with selections of British Commonwealth, Asia, and South American countries. Worldwide - Imagine a collector who purchased hundreds of cards, glassines, pages, small booklets and loose stamps from all over, and then just threw them in a box? That is not too far off of what is in this 3/4 full banker’s box. Mostly purchased between 1965-1995, we saw Europe, French Colonies, British colonies, a bit of Asian material. Classics, "Dunes", souvenir sheets. Some common, some could be better, some duplication, and a fair bit that was tucked into other cards or glassines meaning that we don’t really know what is there. Worldwide - Old school dealer’s show stock on "Harco" pages (which were the rage in the 1980’s and early 1990’s), in 14 very full matching 1" black 3-ring binders. Stamps run from the 1870’s to the 1990’s, including some better stamps and some topical interest. Worldwide Postcards - Interesting postcard correspondence, from 1918 and shortly thereafter, from the writer "Durbin" to his mother, with all cards from the classic period either being sepia or colourized cards. All the cards appear to have European views, noting Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, France, and a few others, noting buildings, landmarks, military, street scenes, and other classic views. Most cards were sent in envelopes and thus there are few postally used cards. A most interesting lot, with the opportunity to get a sense of the social history of the day, with some cards in very fine condition. Estimate =
