Aitutaki - Clean collection of mint Aitutaki 1903-2018, containing many hundreds of stamps, several souvenir sheets and a few sheetlets, all in hingeless mounts, housed in two binders. This well organized collection ranges from Scott #3/681, and starts with selections of early issues, gathering strength from the 1970's onwards, with particular interest in sets and souvenir sheets post-2000, with lightly hinged stamps up to the 1970s and never hinged material thereafter. Just a few of the better stamps include Scott #s 3-6 (c.v. $125 total), 12-13 ($117 total), 581-593 ($110 total), 600-612 ($125 total), with many sets and souvenir sheets ranging from $5 to $15 and up each. 3 Andorra - French #1/462, C1/C8, J1/J60, P1. Valuable collector’s stock on 23 manila stockpages with strength in the early period and back of the book. Noted better mint singles such as #11, 17, 46, 50, 53, 55, 65 and used #12, 73, 142. Includes up to about 20 of a type, with some nice overprints on French stamps, many of the ultra-popular 1932-1943 "Scenery & Buildings" issue and lots of coverage into the 1980’s. The "back of the book" is strong, with some nice airmail and an extensive run of postage dues. Well laid out and conveniently identified with Scott numbers and (2018) catalogue values, which are still very current. A bonus is three pages of Spanish Andorra. The total catalogue value for this lot will likely exceed $3000.00. Estimate = $350.00 $110.00
Antigua #2/20. Lovely study group of Queen Victoria issues, both mint and used (many with the distinct "A02" killer cancel). Fresh appearance, usual heavy hinging on the mint, and some minor perforation faults, again not unusual on perf 14-16 stamps of this era. Up to 8 of a type and individual catalogue values to $275.00. All identified and priced by the owner (looks correct). One of the #2 is likely mint no gum and is counted as used. Total 2024 Scott US$1355.50 = $1,829.93 $28.00

The second printing has good representation too, and both sets could have some non-Scott listed shades and/or cancel interest. If nothing else, this can help you build your British America collection up! Only minor faults noted, and none of the tropical spots that often bedevil this issue. Total 2024 Scott US$785.00 = $1,059.75 $10.00

Each VG/Fine appearing, but all have faults (cut in margins, creases, shallow thins). A great way to fill in a few spots on your first Canada album page, while staying spend-conscious. Estimate = $200.00 $60.00

Canada #5. VG/Fine used example of the 1855 issue 6p slate grey "Prince Albert" imperforate on wove paper. Margins are cut-in around, but still a good stamp to fill the spot in the album on a budget. One of the more elusive "Pence" issues. 2025 Scott US$1150.00 = $1,552.50 $100.00
Canada #7. Used example of the 1855 issue 10p blue imperforate Cartier on thin pelure paper. Margins full to large on two sides, but cut-into design on top and right (top). Attractive light postmark, giving a much better view of Cartier than usually seen. 2024 Scott US$1,500.00 = $2,025.00 $85.00
Canada #9. Attractive looking VG appearing used example of the 7½p green Queen Victoria 1857 imperf pence issue, but with tight margins (to just in) and with thin spot visible from the back. A good stamp to fill the spot in an album, until a better example can be acquired. 2025 Scott US$3000.00 = $4,050.00 $110.00

Canada #19 Cover. Single use of the 17c Cartier cover from Hamilton CW (ONT) to London, England, sent May 30th 1864. 62 Canada #20. Fine+ unused (no gum / partial re-gum) example of the 1864 2c rose Victoria issue. Well centered for this issue, but with a couple minor perf faults. Catalogued as unused / no gum. 2024 Scott Classic US$500.00 = $675.00 $10.00
Canada #21/30. Used septet of Large Queens, from the 1/2c to 15c values. A nice "sampler", unchecked for better shades or paper varieties, from an old-time collection. A couple small faults noted (1c yellow short-perfs, 15c with margin tear), but overall cleaner than usually seen. 2025 Scott US$715.00 = $965.25 $10.00

There are only 7 Large Queens from the 12-1/2c and 15c values, but there are many Small Queens of all denominations, printings with some identified perforation and shade variants (with potential for more discovery) and 20 copies of the Widow Weeds. There are many nice cancels (including a couple of "crown" cancels and a few Western cancels), and there are "jumbo" copies scattered throughout. While some faults are to be expected, this is a cleaner than normal lot, and we don’t believe that a specialist has ever looked at these. Total 2024 Scott US$4311.00 = $5,819.85 $75.00
Canada #29c. Attractive fine used (minor perf faults, rounded UR corner) example of the 15c grey violet Large Queen with "E & G BOTHWELL CLUTHA MILLS" watermark showing the "G" and partial "B" portions of the watermark (from E&G BOTHWELL portion). 2025 Scott US$1,200.00 = $1,620.00 $12.00

Canada #30a. VF used JUMBO example of the scarce 1873 printing perf 11.5 x 12 greenish grey shade of the 15c Large Queen. One short perf at left "noted for the record", which does not detract much from this stunning "one in a thousand" stamp. 2025 Scott US$500.00 = $675.00 $11.00
Canada #34 Cover. Attractive single-franking example of the 1/2c black Small Queen on circular rate cover, posted to Liverpool NS, backstamped April 28th 1892. A wonderful example of the single use of the 1/2c stamp, being a scarce dated example (as almost all these circular rates are undated, as Post Office regulations only required them to be cancelled only with a grid). An attractive addition to any postal history collection, or "plus-value" add-on to a traditional stamp collection. 2024 Unitrade = $300.00 $28.00

The Airmails include a few of C1 and then lots of C5-C9. Noted a few of the 2c and 5c registration stamps, and then lots of both purple and red postage dues, finishing with a few glassines packed with War Tax issues. Thousands of stamps - for which the catalogue value will really add up. Estimate= $180.00 $16.00

Thousands upon thousands of stamps, most of which appear to have been untouched for 40+ years. Some of the material has been identified by the previous owner for tagging and fluorescence (regular only, would need further inspection for varying degrees), noting Centennial and Caricature and Landscape issues. The lot also includes some used material, including a few revenue issues. A few mint plate blocks catalogue in the $5 to $10 range, and we estimate $75 to $125 of face value material (5c to 25c denominations). A nice useful lot for any collector that enjoys the study of paper types of the period. Estimate = $150.00 $0.00
Canada - Just over a century of stamps here in "not your usual" hoard of used Canada. Two banker’s boxes, absolutely packed with 26 stockbooks (some are 16-page, more are 32-page), a mix of both Lighthouse and Uni-Safe brand, most are in reasonable condition. We noted material going back as far as the 5c Small Queen, with some low value Jubilees, lots of better values through the King George V period (3 used Bluenoses), etc. plus lots of everything up to the early 1990's. Up to a couple hundred of a type. Good diversity and coverage with some nice cancels. The owner calculated that there are over 115,000 stamps here, which is "in the ballpark". The albums retail at several hundred dollars, and there could easily be lots of nuggets throughout. Estimate = $500.00 $60.00
Canada - Large consignment full of interesting Canada used material stuffing a box. A spot check indicated roughly 2,500 pre-1950 stamps in 4 albums and in a binder, ranging from the Small Queen's to the Peace Issue (with strength from the Admirals onwards), along with roughly 15,000 Centennials (all neatly organized by denomination in glassines and small plastic bags), bundleware of mostly pre-1950 stamps (including back of the book material), postmarks, over 10,000 stamps in 400 envelopes organized by Scott number (generally from the 1960s to the 1980s), revenues, and much more. Just a few of the postmarks encountered include cds, duplex, MOON, POCON types, blackout, and so much more, including sock on the nose town cancels. A nice project for the Canada used or postmark collector. Online photos show a few specific pages and an overview. Estimate = $250.00 $10.00
Canada - Lunar New Years / Thematic Collection #92. The second installment of Post Office sealed coin / stamp combination packs. This time the "Year of the Dragon" collection, which includes a portfolio with souvenir sheet and sterling silver coin, with 24k gold-plated cameo. These almost entirely disappeared out of the "philatelic world" going to Lunar New Year hobbyists or coin collectors. Limited Edition of 10,000 sets only! Original purchase price was $88.88 (lucky numbers) plus tax. Undervalued (in our opinion) considering how seldom we have seen these. 2024 Unitrade = $175.00 $20.00
Canada - Massive Canada used/postmark catch all filling a Uhaul carton. We estimate over 50,000 stamps in a variety of well-organized formats including a few stockbooks, binder full of manilla pages, shoebox full of glassines organized by Scott number, envelopes full of on paper town postmarks, and so much more. A spot check indicated material from the Small Queens (roughly 125), up to the 1980's, with the majority of material from the 1950's onwards, including back of the book material. Just a few of the postmarks encountered include squared circles, fancy, CDS, duplex, RPO, MOON, POCON, including some socked on the nose town cancels. We also found Christmas seals, paper varieties (described by the owner), leaving other finds to the dedicated collector. A really nice opportunity here for all collectors, especially postmark hunters. Our online photos show a small sampling and an overview. Estimate = $350.00 $12.00

Canada Covers - First Day Covers Collection. One man's collection of 524 covers from the 1949-1980 period, neatly arranged within a small box. An interesting view of how FDC collectors managed over the decades, with the earliest being odds and ends (cachet / no cachet) before eventually shifting to private cachet makers (primarily Rosecraft / Capital City), then in the 1970's starting to collect Canada Post produced FDC (all the early #8 size) along with some later private cachet's (NR). The perforated issues are cleaner with a catalogue value of $1718.00. Total 2024 Scott US$3198.00 = $4,317.30 $60.00

Egypt #1/11. Seven overprinted Turkish stamps, missing only #6 and with the 12-1/2 x 15 perforation #4c, these with a trace of original gum (at best). 327 Finland #10/1646. Remarkable dealer’s stock in three binders, going right up to 2021 neatly organized on 100 manila stockpages, most having one item per line, and identified and priced by Scott (prices appear to have been recently updated). There are some better classic singles such as #10, 17, 35, and the lot is quite complete from the 20th century onwards, with lots of $3-$10 items. And don’t let the very modern material go under your radar, as there is lots of 21st century material here, with lots of increasingly difficult to find, postally used items. Only a couple of souvenir sheets here. Don’t wait for the next one of these to come along. Over 5000 stamps. Estimate = $300.00 $12.00
Finland #38/842. Mint dealer’s stock, nicely organized, on 29 manila stock pages. Heavily populated up to 1990, and with a smattering afterwards, this is ready to go to help with your collection or to break up for sale. Each item has been identified by Scott number and (2016) catalogue value, which have gone down roughly 20%. There is better such as #56, noted 9 copies of #470A, and there is strong representation of the commemoratives from the 1950's-1960's which catalogue in the $5-$10 range. Duplication is generally up to 10 of a type, so the catalogue value is substantial. Estimate = $200.00 $11.00
Finland and Karelia #B1/B266, C1/C10, M1/M7, Q1/Q17 and N6/N27, NB1. Finish "Back of the Book" dealer’s stock of mint and used stamps, neatly arranged on 26 manila stockpages, roughly separated by mint and used, and then each issue is identified by Scott number and (2016) catalogue value. Strongest is the semi-postals, with solid coverage of mint issues, including lots of better 1950's sets (catalogue $5-$10 each), and the used gaining in strength through the 1970's, and stopping in the mid-1990's. The airmail, military and parcel post issues are evenly split, noting mint copies of Q6-Q17. There are a couple of pages of Karelia overprints. Even though the current catalogue values are a little lower than what are presented in the lot, there is still lots of appeal and value here, and the owner has put in the work to make things easy for you. Estimate = $250.00 $10.00
Finland/Aland Islands - This province has only issued about 500 stamps since the 1980's, and this dealer stock is a great way to build up your collection. Separated with mint issues being on 9 manila stockpages (including some blocks & multiples), and the used occupying 16 stockpages. There is material here from 1984 up to 2019, including some very complete runs and including both Finish and Euro currencies. Up to about 30 of a type, with many attractive issues, which includes topical appeal. The material is identified by Scott numbers and includes 2016 Scott catalogue prices. Unfortunately, many of these prices have dropped by about 1/3 to 1/2 in the intervening years. There are still many items in the $4-$7 catalogue value. There is some postally used material (which Scott says is worth a 30-40% premium over stamps which have been cancelled to order). Several hundred stamps. Estimate = $150.00 $34.00
France - Special 2001 "Marianne" presentation hard-cover folder, numbered and signed #335 of 3000 for the transition from "Francs" to "Euros" and including a full pane of 100 of each the 1fr and €1.00 issues, plus "Last Day" Franc issue cancelled Dec 31st 2001 and "First Day" Euro issue cancelled Jan 1st 2002 on illustrated pane. Original issue price was certainly quite high, considering the 100 francs and €100.00 euros each pane represents. Estimate = $120.00 $10.00
France - Worthwhile holding of 93x "102" cards, featuring a wide array of mint and (mostly) used France, with strength in the "classics". Each card was priced by retail (not catalogue value) many years ago by the previous owner. Expect the odd fault, but this is also acknowledged by the pricing on the cards, which add up to $461.00. Estimate = $120.00 $12.00
German Federated Republic Supplies - Pristine offering of 2005-2009 Linder brand Federal Republic of Germany album illustrated pages (no binder), with page mounts as well as the interleaving clear full page stocksheets. This well organized collection contains over 1,000 stamps, along with a few souvenir sheets and sheetlets, and is virtually complete in-period, including semi-postals. A spot check indicated a few sets cataloguing in the $10 to $20 and up range. A very clean collection in three high retailing albums, with online photos showing a small sampling only. Should be worth our low estimate. Estimate = $200.00 $22.00
Germany - Berlin #9N1/9N592, 9NB1/9NB285. Attractive BOREK brand hingeless album 1948-1990, with 671 mostly mint (Never Hinged) stamps, with the odd used example (mostly in the earlier material). Includes regular issues, semi-postals, souvenir sheets, booklets and coils. The album alone would retail for at least $200.00 as "new". Owner's 2022 Scott US$720.40 = $972.55 $10.00
Germany DDR - Extensive and largely complete 1968-1989 in four expensive BOREK brand hingeless albums (in excellent condition, all with slipcases), featuring 1599 stamps. 337 Germany DDR - Stunning comprehensive 1948-1967 collection in a Scott "Specialty" Germany DDR Album. The collection contains mint (mostly Lightly Hinged), with the odd Never Hinged (identified in-mounts), plus used Official stamps. A great opportunity to acquire an in-depth collection. See the lot of BOREK albums in this sale for the continuation of this collection beyond 1967. Owner's 2022 Scott US$3195.95 = $4,314.55 $11.00

A comprehensive offering of issues, plus the album alone with would likely retail for over $200.00 "as new" empty! Owner's 2022 Scott US$748.15 = $1,010.00 $10.00
Germany Literature - Michel German Specialized two volume catalogue from 2020, plus a couple of watermark charts and a translation guide for English-speaking readers. Hardcover, in as near to new condition as you are likely to get. Original cost was $280.00, the current version is closer to $325.00 and not many are floating on the second hand market, as few collectors need to get a new copy every year. Estimate = $140.00 $42.00
Ghana - Clean mint collection 1957-1973, containing many hundreds of stamps, mostly hinged onto roughly 100 homemade album pages, housed in 2 binders. This well-organized collection ranges from Scott #1/511 (roughly 90% complete in period), including many souvenir sheets, along with selections of airmail and postage dues, noting a few sets and souvenir sheets cataloguing $5 to $15 and up. A nice lot, especially for topical and thematic collectors, with online photos showing a small sampling. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00

There are 4 mint sets of the King George VI set #40-51, plus most of a used set. There are some other Common Design issues, including the Silver Wedding. The QEII is a bit more hit or miss but includes sets with catalogue values up to $15.00 and six of the eight postage dues mint (catalogues $53.00). Estimate = $200.00 $32.00
Great Britain #1188/2813. Official First Day Covers issued 1987-2010 (most are 1999 onwards), with official cachet, most with original insert and with neatly typed address. Lots of sets, with up to 10 stamps, plus a number of souvenir sheets and Machin sheetlets of 9 stamps. As stamps alone, most of these covers catalogue at $7-$12 each. A total of 148 different covers. While it may be sacrilegious to some, with the difficulty of finding modern used stamps, some collectors have taken to soaking the stamps off of first day covers as place holders until postally used examples are acquired. As stamps only, the estimated 2024 Scott catalogue is US$1036.00 = $1,398.60 $10.00
Great Britain #DX12/DX30. Prestige booklet run of 19 different from 1991-2003, with popular topics such as Tolkien, European Football, Royalty, Record Breakers etc. All were sold as a premium over face value and were produced in limited quantities. These were from a standing Post Office order, and all are pristine, except for the "Beatrix Potter" booklet which has some minor damage and is not counted in the total catalogue value. Owner’s older 2017 Stanley Gibbons Concise £554.00 = $1,008.25 $11.00
Great Britain - Large collection of mint and Used Great Britain, 1950's-1999, containing over 1,000 primarily mint stamps, on a few hundred well described pages, housed in 3 thick binders, with an additional binder and stockbook. A spot check indicated a mint and or a used stamp for some issues from the 1960's, with predominately mint stamps and sets, including a few pairs, souvenir sheets, gutter pairs, from the 1970's onwards. The additional binder and stockbook contains the collector's remainders, noting some used material from the Victorian era onwards, Machin mint sets, with a few items cataloguing $10 and up, along with roughly £150 of mint usable postage. A few faults with a few of the early stamps, overall fine to very fine. Estimate = $300.00 $11.00
Great Britain - Mint commemoratives, including a couple of booklets/souvenir sheets (and a few Machins), and a few "Regionals" bought by a standing order customer between 1985-2000. All still in their original packing materials, so are never hinged, and about as pristine as you are going to get. Denominations range from 19p up to the £3 castles. Not a complete run and the Machins are a bit light and not counted in the estimated current face value of £455.00 = $828.10 $10.00
Great Britain - Selection of 42 different used Machin "Pound" values, plus a special delivery and 3 'signed for' issues. England has gone through numerous rate changes lately, rendering many of these values obsolete now, and near impossible to find used. 2025 Scott US$171.00 = $230.85 $22.00
Great Britain Isles - Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey (with some Alderney) mint never hinged commemoratives and definitives including souvenir sheets (with some Stamp Show overprints). All from a standing order customer mostly 1990-2001, and still in their original glassines with some backing boards. Appears to be fairly complete for the time period, missing only coils and booklets. After everyone got on board with these issues in the 1970s, they tended to cool off as more issues and higher face values made keeping up a collection more challenging. This will give you a chance to extend your collection for another decade, and at a fraction of its original cost. Estimate = $180.00 $32.00
Great Britain Offices in Morocco #203-208. Choice used selection of the 6 highest values of the 1907-1912 Edward VII overprinted series. The 2sh6p high-value is particularly nice, with "socked on the nose" CDS postmark. 2025 Scott US$243.25 = $328.40 $10.00

Condition is excellent and all are sorted into glassine envelopes with Scott numbers and quantities penciled in (a number of the quantities are incorrect, and we have tried to correct them). A popular collecting area with some nice Arctic thematics throughout (e.g. polar bears, whales). Total 2024 Scott US$2752.55 = $3,715.94 $30.00
Greenland #28/322, B1/B13. Used wholesale lot of assorted values from 1950 to 2010, with 4 to 130 copies of each stamp, amazingly most appear to be postally used, with blocks peeking out everywhere! All neatly organized, numbered by Scott and catalogued about 10 years ago (these values appear to have held fairly steadily). Better condition than you normally see for these British West Indies colonies. Estimate = $250.00 $10.00
