A couple have not much original gum, but the gum side of most is in far better condition than is normally seen from these 100+ year old stamps out of Africa. Total 2024 Scott US$553.60 = $747.35 $28.00
Brunei #1/73. The popular "Brunei River" series plus a couple early overprinted "Colonial Seal" issues of Labuan. A total of 52 different stamps, with denominations to $5.00. Includes different watermarks, colours, denominations and a number of Scott-listed perforation varieties. Attractive, fresh and mint. Most of which have been only hinged once. A couple show tropical aging to the gum, not unusual given the Southeast Asian climate that these stamps originate from. Issued over 40 years, and why not, it’s a great design. 2024 Scott US$540.25 = $729.35 $32.00
Brunei #14/111a. Two pages of a mostly mint selection strong in the iconic "Scene on the Brunei River" design with a number of printings, papers, colours and perforations represented. 55 Canada #35/2045. Not your usual used wholesale accumulation. A U-Haul box, filled with five shoe boxes, each filled with neatly sorted glassine envelopes, most with 20-50 examples of each stamp. Starts with 1c-5c Small Queens, 1c-3c Jubilees, Maps, 2c Quebec, 1927-1930’s commemoratives to 20c, Champlain and Chateau dollar values, and then hit or miss into the 2000’s, with a strong finish of about 20x $10.00 Blue Whales. Lots of obvious cancel potential. Some multiples. The condition appears to be decent. Thousands of stamps with huge catalogue value here. Estimate = $300.00 $22.00

Just a few of the postmarks encountered include cds., squared circles, fancy, duplex, orbs, flags, including many socked on the nose town postmarks. Besides being nicely sorted, there are a number of nice cancels throughout and some better issues (e.g. #131 - the 10 franc "Liberty & Peace" value with 10 copies, cataloguing $17.00 each). There is a touch of "back of the book", mostly semi-postals and air mail issues. Potential here throughout. Fills a banker’s box. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
France #957/1931 plus Back of the Book. An old school 5-post album with linen hinged manilla stockpages with a two-part used holding. The first is a commemorative strong wholesale group of regular issues from 1960-1984, with quantities up to 50 of a type, with strength in the "Art", Europa sets, etc. This section seems to have been completely intact as assembled and there are thousands of stamps here (It was catalogued years ago at about $1400.00 when Scott catalogue values were still in pennies). The second part includes semi-postals, airmails, postage dues and military franchise issues from the 19th century onwards. This section appears to have been picked, but there is still lots of stamps with catalogue values up to $10.00 each. Estimate = $180.00 $10.00
France - Mint morass in a shoebox! Culled so that almost everything is 1960-2013. After that you are on your own, with 10x #10 envelopes and a few glassines (these include stamps back to 1944). While a few have been organized on card (with retail prices to $4.00 each) most are just loose, awaiting your organizing skills. There are over 1500 stamps here, mostly never hinged, with a bit of duplication. We didn’t see any obvious back of the book, but who knows. A great way to build your modern French collection. Estimate = $140.00 $11.00
French Colonies - Mostly Algeria (starting during the French Administration), with a decent offering of St. Pierre et Miquelon, with bits of French Polynesia, FSAT, Madagascar and a few other colonies. Goes from the 1880's to about the 1970's. Sorted by colony, then Scott number. There is mint and/or used, all identified by Scott and with up to 50 stamps per glassine. A few hundred glassines are here. The stamps are mostly lower value (up to $5.00 catalogue each), with some possibilities for postmark hunters. Estimate = $140.00 $10.00
French Guinea #1/112, C1-C5. A page from this French African colony, with a near-complete set of the "Navigation and Commerce" issues (missing only #12) and then a hit or miss group of single stamps up to the 1924 overprints. Plus, there is the first airmail set. All stamps are hinged, and some of the early issues do not have much original gum (not sure if that is due to exposure to the climate in central Africa). Still great appearance. 2024 Scott US$571.70 = $771.80 $19.00
French Guiana #32/97, J1/J31. A nice page of mint issues from this French South American colony, including a good range of "Navigation and Commerce" issues with better such as #40 and #50, and most of the 1912 revaluation. There is a scattering from other issues with local theorems and two sets of postage dues. All are hinged. 2024 Scott US$552.45 = $745.80 $10.00
Gabon #16/123, J2/J8. A mint selection of pre-Independence Gabon, while still under French Administration, with a scattering of "Navigation and Commerce" issues including the 3 high values to 5fr (#30-32), and most of the 1912 revauations. There are other better singles (e.g. #40) and various overprints. The early stamps are very lightly hinged, the later ones with typical hinging. Very attractive appearance and only the occasional minor fault. 2024 Scott US$543.45 = $733.65 $10.00
Gambia #5/171. Used Gambian selection of 55 different items, with a nice group of Victorian-era material, noting #18a and #25. The King Edward group is small but includes the 2/- #37. 287 Gambia #5/95. A beautiful page of 53 different early mint early Gambia with a line of Queen Victoria "Cameos" (including #8), with the balance of the lot being "Keyplate" designs, from Queen Victoria (#24), King Edward VII to 1/6 (including #31 and #35) and a nice selection of King George V. All hinged. A great addition to any British Africa collection. 2024 Scott US$597.80 = $807.05 $10.00
Germany #B68. VF used example of the famous 1935 issue OSTROPA souvenir sheet of four. A wonderful example of this sheet, not suffering from the notorious browning and disintegration associated with the effects of the dangerously acidic gum when issued (meaning this was likely used and "soaked" very early on). Sharp "OSTROPA" show cancels (23.6.35). Hard to find nicer. 2024 Scott US$825.00 = $1,113.75 $16.00

There is a small group of used, all pre-Elizabethan with some nice cancels seen in the Victorian-era material. The Queen Victoria issues to go 1/- (noted #14), a good run of King Edward VII to 2/- (including #41 and #54), plus some KGV to 2/6. The #4 has no gum and is catalogued as a used example. 2024 Scott US$822.70 = $1,110.65 $10.00

Great Britain #79. Plate reconstruction in an old time book. The lot contains 220 used stamps, all having different plate letter combinations, ranging from AA to TL, and noting a variety of postmark types including cds, squared circles, duplex, etc. A nice lot, that should be expanded until complete. A total of 29 different sheets, PLUS a complete set of 29 used (mostly on close-cut paper, in mounts). Scott does not value the sheets, so conservatively valued as six mint per-pane. Woefully undervalued in Scott at $1.75 per mint stamp (considering the face value per stamp is £1.70!). All arranged in mounts, on collector made pages. 2025 Scott US$343.65 = $463.95 $42.00

Madagascar #17/1255, B1/B23, C1/C176. Wide ranging collector’s accumulation nicely laid out on 34 manilla stockpages, a mix of mint and used issues starting with the French Administration "Commerce and Navigation" issue right up to the 1990’s, with some supporting "Back of the Book" material. Up to 20 of a type with better sets and singles to $25.00 catalogue value, with above average condition. All individually identified and priced by 2012 Scott. Besides the classic period, there are a good range of modern topical-rich issues, including sets of 8 stamps and a matching souvenir sheet, all CTO, with themes such as "Fruit", "Butterflies" "Cars" and "Animals" which catalogue $5-$8 per set and there are often 20 sets, meaning that the catalogue value adds up very quickly. Estimate = $160.00 $10.00
Malta #7/161. Clean used early Malta can be hard to come by, and this selection has both solid condition as well as many attractive cancellations. We note #7, the 1885 Queen Victoria set (including #9a), with "Boat", "Harbour", King Edward VII values. The King George V includes some different watermarks, a couple of Scott listed colour shades, "Self Government" overprints to 2/- with "Malta" design plus "Postage" overprints to 10/-. Finishes with a few "Postage and Revenue" overprints. Better singles include #67, 80, 81, 91, 112, 127. 2024 Scott US$943.05 = $1,273.10 $0.00
Malta #8/83. Early mint Malta selection (Part 1): With five values from the 1885 Queen Victoria set, a very attractive group of King Edward VII definitives plus some of the "Boat" series. The King George V definitives with values to 2/- and six "Self Government" overprints, including the 2/6 "Malta". Beautiful appearance, all are hinged, with only a couple of minor faults noted. 2024 Scott US$676.40 = $913.15 $10.00
Malta #86/187. Early mint Malta selection (Part 2): Starts with overprints to 2/- from the second "Self-Government" set, a very nice selection from the "Malta" design, including the "Postage" overprint (values to 10/-). There is some nice King George V, noting the 10/- "St. Paul", and several overprinted "Postage and Revenue". Lots of better singles into the $30.00 range plus #92, and #147. Attractive hinged group. 2024 Scott US$735.80 = $993.35 $10.00
Mauritius #8/111. Victorian-era selection of 39 different mint stamps, with a couple of seated Britannia’s, a nice selection of Queen Victoria issues, including a number with revaluation overprints, and a nice selection from the "Coat of Arms" set. Better includes #10, 56, 60, 61, 67, 69, 108. Many of the Britannia and QV issues have little original gum, and a number of the Coat of Arms are heavily hinged, both are not unusual for these issues. However, the appearance is excellent, with three nice "wing margin" copies. Includes a bonus of a 100+ year old dealer-produced reprint of a 1p stamp not counted in the catalogue value. 2024 Scott US$725.60 = $979.55 $0.00
Mauritius #24/113. Used selection of 55 different Queen Victoria-era issues, with better mixed in with some nice cancels. Includes some QV side face issues, including a number of revalues. Noted #24, 30, 42 margin copy (with an almost unbelievable socked-on-the-nose "B53" cancel), #47, 53, 83. Plus a nice selection of the "Coat of Arms" issue, including both printings of the 5c (#101). Five are "wing margin" examples. The overall condition is excellent, with only the occasional minor fault noted. 2024 Scott US$743.50 = $1,003.75 $0.00

Imperf group of 6 singles of engraved composite reproductions of 1847-1859 QV 1p and 2p values, representing Post Office, Post Paid early and late impressions, 1859 Lapirot and Sherwin issues. These come from mini-sheets, printed ca1900 from the RPS handbook. Nice items for those of us who cannot afford millions for the genuine. Estimate = $100.00 $10.00
Mexico - Bundle of joy! An interesting collector accumulated selection of several components. Listed in no particular order, the lot includes...1) A 1963 presentation booklet in nice leatherette. 2) A couple of better individual sets, including the 1940 Penny Black anniversary set (both regular and Airmail, Lightly Hinged, catalogue US$141.00) and the 1942 Astrophysics set (again Lightly Hinged, catalogue US$95.00 3) A couple of glassines with more modern issues. 4) Complete mint panes of 30 of C140 & C17 which catalogue US$1110.00. 5) Finally, 40 sheets (20 stamps per sheet / making 5 complete sets per sheet) of the 1983 Colonial Monument issue (Scott #1341a with a catalogue value of $20.00 per sheet, but with some gum bends). Estimate = $200.00 $16.00
Mexico - Thousands of used stamps from the 1850's to the 1990's, a combination of mounted and loose stamps in a bankers box, the balance of a consignment. The mounted collections include a narrow Minkus binder (in decent condition) with pages to 1990 with a scattering of about 400 stamps. There are another 4 sets of album pages (no binders) from various producers. There are a bit sparse and one is packed with stamps, with some possibilities for the specialist of earlier issues. The loose stamps are not to be overlooked, most are in an envelope box, with about 25 #10 sized envelopes, each with at least 200 off-paper stamps each (total of 5000 stamps), mostly 1930-1990 including lots of airmail issues. There doesn’t seem to be much order to these envelopes, and we occasionally saw some older material. Perfect for the experienced collector or the newby looking to increase their knowledge of this fascinating collecting area. Estimate = $200.00 $11.00
Montserrat #1/126. Mint selection from Queen Victoria to the end of King George VI’s reign, with a nice group of various designs with the "Symbol of the Colony" including the King George V version. There is a bit of Common Design material and the first King George VI long set goes to 5/- with most of the later perforation changes. Finishes with a complete final set of KGVI. Mint hinged and very attractive. 2024 Scott US$380.70 = $513.95 $0.00
Morocco and French Morocco #1/569 and 15/237 plus Back of the Book for both. A pair of shoeboxes with a substantial accumulation of a collector’s mint and used duplicates all well organized into glassine envelopes. The post-independence issues go into the mid 1980's, with lots of $1-$3 sets and singles. The colonial period includes values to $7.00 with some cancel potential amongst the used. There are thousands of stamps here, with lots of common material of very high quality. Several hundred glassines, with up to 80 stamps per envelope. Estimate = $140.00 $10.00
Netherlands #23/995. Massive accumulation of one collector’s well organized used duplicates, conscientiously organized into glassine envelopes, each identified with the Scott number. Technically there is a bit of mint, some semi-postals and a touch of Antilles and Netherlands-Indies. Mostly common material, with catalogue values up to $5.00 each, but with many nice cancels, including numeral cancels amongst the 19th century material. Individual glassines with up to 100 stamps each, and there are a few hundred glassines. There could be some research potential here. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00
Netherlands #480/872a, B457/B685a. A quarter-century-mounted collection combining organization and chaos. Regular issue and semi-postals from 1970-1984 all on quadrilled pages. The collection is primarily used, a fairly compete run, but with many of the stamps (and duplicates), just tucked into page protectors. About 1972 mint stamps start to appear, often mounted on the opposite page - all appear to be in mounts, but this is hit or miss right to the end. There are some souvenir sheets and even a few first day covers. Many of the page protectors show signs of aging, but the album pages and stamps are fresh. Lots of $2-$5 sets and souvenir sheets here, and the total catalogue value will add up quickly. This could be rewarding for the person willing to finish the job that this collector has started. Fills a 2-1/2" 3-ring binder. Estimate = $150.00 $0.00
Netherlands - Large used collection of Netherlands, 1852-2011, containing roughly 1,500 different stamps, hinged onto a few hundred homemade pages housed in a thick binder. The collection is well organized by Scott number ranging from #1/1392, noting a good run of early numbers including Scott #s 1-3 (0-2 margins, c.v. $192 total), 4-6 ($124 total), 7-12, 17-22 ($238 total), 23-33, 53 ($130), along with roughly 550 different semi-postal stamps, including B1-B3, and a selection of postage dues, and Netherlands Indies (noting Scott #1, 2 margins, $100). Postmark interest includes cds, noting some "socked on the nose" town cancels. A very nice collection, a few small faults on a few of the early stamps, with online photos showing a sampling. Should be well worth our low estimate of less than 15c a stamp. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
Netherlands Colonies - Mounted collection of several colonies on homemade quadrilled pages, with issues from the 1870’s to about 1986. There is a mix of Netherlands Indies, New Guinea, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, Aruba and Suriname. More used than mint, with sections of good coverage and others with not much. While we noted individual stamps with catalogue values to $25.00 each, what makes this collection interesting is the amount of used material that is tucked in behind the mounted stamps. Not sure if they are duplicates or if there are perforation, shade or cancel interest. Estimate = $150.00 $16.00
Netherlands & Colonies - The balance of a Netherlands holding, the best being a mounted assortment of back of the book, with semi-postals, airmails, postage dues. There are some modern used issues strong in 1980’s-1990’s with a mounted collection and a nice 40-page stockbook with an attractive offering of used regular and semi-postal issues. There is a bundle of mounted collections from various colonies (strongest are the Netherland-Indies), including a wholesale group of "Indonesia" overprints on Queen Wilhelmenia issues. A bit of chaos here, with lots of catalogued already. Fills most of a banker’s box. Estimate = $160.00 $0.00
New Caledonia #6a/73. Used stamps from this French Pacific colony are often harder to find used than mint, and this is a special grouping. Includes overprints on French Colonies issues, others on French issues and then lots of "Navigation and Commerce" missing very few from the "basic" set, the revaluations and the "Jubilee" overprints up to the 15c value. Key items include #24, 25, 29, 56. Don’t wait for a nicer lot! 2024 Scott US$875.90 = $1,182.50 $10.00
New Caledonia #6a/87. Fresh looking page of French Pacific colonial issues, starting with a few colonial overprints, including a couple of inverts. The balance is mostly from the "Navigation and Commerce" set in various iterations, including most of the basic set, with revaluations and lots of "Jubilee" overprints. Better include #54, 55, 78, 79. Some are very lightly hinged, a couple have hinge remnants, much better than normally seen. 2024 Scott US$841.65 = $1,136.25 $0.00
New Zealand #AR46/AR101. Wholesale lot of used "Coat of Arms" postal fiscals with denominations up to £2, with quantities of 1 to 16 of a type. Includes better, such as #AR81. Take what you need and then sell what you don’t to help recoup your costs. All appear to be postally used, with the exception of #AR88, which is not counted in the catalogue value. 2024 Scott US$1438.35 = $1,941.80 $65.00
New Zealand - Recent used selection of 53 different 2020-2024, mostly high values and so hard to find with so few using stamps anymore! 2025 Scott US$264.00 = $356.40 $10.00
Norfolk Island #1/712. A collector’s duplicates nicely mounted on 13 manilla stockpages, with a selection of mint and used issues from 1947 to 2001. Includes mint and used, with a number of sets, a few multiples, but most are 1 to 5 copies of a type. Better items include #23-24, #26-28, #29-41, #42. The more modern material is a bit hit or miss. Each stamp has been identified by Scott with what appears to be current catalogue values, we did a rough tally and it was over US$500.00 catalogue value. The condition is excellent. With the relatively light duplication, this makes for a good collection or stock builder. Estimate = $140.00 $0.00
North West Pacific Islands #3/47. A page of the always popular Australian "Roo" and King George V "Heads" issues overprinted for use after the First World War in what is now Nauru and was formerly German New Guinea. This is a little holding with over a dozen different issues with 1-6 examples of a type. 31 of the stamps are mint, and 9 are used. Each identified and priced by Scott. There is some possibility that there are non-Scott listed shade variants, particularly amongst the 1/2d values. There is a minor fault here or there, but still nice appearance. 2024 Scott US$408.25 = $551.15 $13.00
Northern Rhodesia, Southern Rhodesia and Rhodesia #1/43, J1/J4 and 1/92 and 1/89. Central African British colony trio, with values to 10/-, the occasional perforation or colour variant, and some nice cancels. Goes into the early QEII-era, with individual stamps to $40.00 catalogue value. Condition is generally very nice, and the overall appearance is equally nice. Total 2024 Scott US$398.40 = $537.85 $32.00
Norway #3/15. Early group of ten different used "Skilling" denominated stamps from the 1850's-1860's with #3-5, 8, 10-15. Includes the "Lion" image with both cross-hatched and vertical line background and a few have readable cancels, and only a few minor perforation faults visible. A solid way to start your early Scandinavian collection. 2024 Scott US$598.00 = $807.30 $0.00
Norway #6, 7. The two best values from the 1863 "Lions" set with cross-hatched background, the 2 skilling orange and 3 skilling gray lilac. Each with a "Christiana" circular date stamps cancel. One shortish perf on #7, otherwise a solid duo. 2024 Scott US$550.00 = $752.50 $0.00
Norway #15, 15a. Great comparative duo of the 8 skilling "Lion" with vertical line background of 1867. These stamps have two distinct differences. One is the colour, with a distinct difference between the carmine rose and rose shades. The second is the quality of the printing, with #15 being the typical "rougher" (and typical) impression, while #15a has a much sharper image. Each with a circular date stamp. 2024 Scott US$480.00 = $648.00 $0.00
Norway #18a/1802, O35/O87. A shoebox absolutely packed with a collector’s used duplicates; all neatly arranged in glassine envelopes. Ranges from the "Post horn" issues up to 2016, far more modern issues than these types of holdings usually have. Several hundred envelopes, most have more than 20 stamps each, all noted with the Scott number. Condition is excellent, and while most catalogue up to $3.00 each, there are thousands of stamps here, with readable cancels at every turn. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00
Pakistan #1/156,O1/O91. Mint collection of pre-1970 Pakistan, with both regular issues and officials, starting with overprints on India issues, and includes a number of perforation varieties. Lots of better sets and singles include #38-40, 40a, 43b, 51, 53, 54, O25, O26a, O27-O31. All are fresh and most are lightly hinged or never hinged. 2024 Scott US$738.75 = $997.30 $0.00
Papua New Guinea #4/870. A wide-ranging selection of used singles and sets covering much of the 20th century, staring with the iconic "Lakotoi" issue including overprints and revaluations. There are some nice examples from the 1932 commemorative set and three which were overprinted for KGV’s Silver Jubilee. There is a gap between 1966-1984 and then there are mostly used high values interspersed with a few sets. And includes five postally used values from the chaotic period in the mid-1990s when current issues were overprinted locally (including #867). An attractive group, generally harder to find used than mint, with some British South Pacific topical interest. 2024 Scott US$465.55 = $628.50 $10.00
Qatar #108G-108J. In October 1966, with a change in currency from "Rupees" to "Riyals" some of the remaining postal stocks from 1961 were overprinted, which made for some scarce issues. These are the four high values of the "Oil Derrick" issue, each nicely cancelled. About as nice as you are going to find, with the 10r value having a minor internal paper wrinkle that might easily press out and mentioned "for the record". A scarce Middle Eastern quartet. 2024 Scott US$535.00 = $722.25 $10.00
Romania #20/5705, B1/B445, C4/C214 & more BOB. Fascinating collector’s holding of mint and used from early issues to 2012 and lots of "back of the book". There are nuggets throughout including 4 values of the 1903 "Post Office" issue, noted #204 (owner’s mark), #1082-1093 (animals set imperforate), #B5-12 (both mint and used) and lots of sets and singles cataloguing $5-$20. There is a bit of duplication with a few being heavily subscribed, but most in the 1-5 issues. Equal parts organized and interesting. Estimate = $180.00 $10.00
Romania - Collection of mint and used Romania, 1879-1991, containing many hundreds of stamps on homemade pages, housed in 2 binders. This well organized collection ranges Scott #66/3684, including selections of back of the book material. A spot check indicated a few stamps and partial sets catalogue $10 and up, noting many socked on the nose town postmarks, noting cds and bridge types. Online photos show a small sampling. A nice starter collection, ready for continuation. Estimate = $150.00 $0.00

Registered at Leningrad and Malyguin (respectively), this attractive duo is perfect for the airmail, Zeppelin, Russia or "nice item" collector. Estimate = $200.00 $24.00
Russia/USSR #33/6255. The balance of one collector’s holdings of mint and used ranging from the Czarist period to just after the collapse of the Soviet Union in a 64-page Lighthouse stockbook. The coverage is hit-or-miss throughout. While there is much in the $1-$5 catalogue range, because of the collector’s organization, we noted better such as #597-604 (used) and mint (#1234-6, #1534-5, #1553-4). There is back of the book too, with some semi-postals, air mail, occupation issues (with a good quantity of Turkish offices). Most are fewer than 10 copies of a type, but a few have larger quantities and some multiples are noted. A couple of thousand stamps, and about 1/3 of the album is empty, perfect for expansion. Most items are identified by Scott with a fairly current catalogue values, which will add up quickly. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
Russia/USSR #B7b/B120, C12/C52, E1-E3. A "back of the book" selection with 10 different semi-postals and the first trio of used Special Delivery stamps. The best is the airmail, including #C12, two used examples of #C28 (Graf Zeppelin design) and the 50k and 80k denominations of #C43 and #C44 part of the 1934 10th Anniversary of Civil Aviation set, these both with original gum but the hinging is a bit heavy. A bonus item is a mint forgery of #C43 with decent paper and gum, but the perforation and colour are wrong. Will enhance any album. 2024 Scott US$557.75 = $752.95 $0.00
Ryukyu Islands #42/228, C25/C28. A (mostly) mint collector’s accumulation all neatly laid out in glassine envelopes and half filling a shoebox. Ryukyus is a very popular sideline for Japanese and American-occupation collectors. Each glassine contains one issue (typically 10 to 50 of each stamp, most are never hinged, with many corner blocks) lightly noted with the Scott number. Over 100 different glassines, including a few with postally used stamps. Estimate = $130.00 $32.00
Saar #B1/B36. Part 1: Mint semi-postals, a very complete run of the 1926-1931 "Volkshilfe" charity stamps, missing only #B13, B15, B29 and B35. Fresh appearance and hinged, with the occasional bit of normal gum bends or cracks. 2024 Scott US$564.50 = $762.10 $10.00
Saar #B37/90, CB1. Part 2: Mint semi-postals this time from 1932 to 1952 from eight sets and a few single or paired issues, plus the one airmail semi-postal issued by Saar. Lovely appearance with no visible faults. All are hinged, with a few with natural gum bends. 2024 Scott US$551.75 = $744.85 $10.00
Saar - Used "back of the book" (#B24/B113, C1/C11, O1/O13) from Saar, which is often more difficult to find than mint. This is a nice scattering of singles and a couple of sets that will help you with your collection from the French administration period. Noted #B35, B50, B54-56, C1-C4, C6-C11 and the two better early official overprints. Most have easily readable cancels, and no obvious faults. 2024 Scott US$451.30 = $609.25 $11.00
Saint Kitts - Part 1. Lovely collection of mint never hinged St. Kitts, 1980-2011, containing roughly 1,000 stamps, all in hingeless mounts on well described pages housed in 3 thick binders. This well organized collection ranges from Scott #25/821, including roughly 100 souvenir sheets, and a few sheetlets, noting some sets and souvenir sheets cataloguing $10 to $20 and up each.. A lovely collection, especially topical and thematic collectors, noting travel, nature, sports, entertainers, butterflies, and several other subjects, with online photos showing a small sampling. 2025 Scott US$2,197.00 = $2,965.95 $0.00

San Marino #1/79. Pre-WWI mint assortment on just over one stockplage, with a nice selection of "Numeral/Coat of Arms" issues from the 1870’s, the "Palace and Regents" set, four values from the "Statue of Liberty" set (it’s a different one) and then much of the 1903 definitives and the "Coat of Arms" duo of 1907-1910. Very fresh appearance, but the early issues are heavily hinged, as you would expect and getting lighter as the lot goes along. 2024 Scott US$496.75 = $670.60 $10.00
San Marino #1/80. Used assortment on a stockpage. A very strong start from the 1877 "Numeral/Coat of Arms" issue, including both shades of the 10c ultra (#7 & #7a), with a bit of a hit or miss of the balance including the "Palace", 1903 definitives and the different sizes of the "Coat of Arms" duo and the 1918 overprint. A fresh-looking set in far better condition than normally seen. 2024 Scott US$1108.65 = $1,496.70 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #138-147. The first ten stamps from the 1934 Kingdom of Saudi Arabia set, missing the very scarce high value duo. These are all the perforated examples, nicely centered and mostly lightly hinged. Issued for the Proclamation of Emir Saud as Heir Apparent in Arabia. 2024 Scott US$717.00 = $967.95 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #157-172. Complete mint set of the "Tughra of King Abdul Aziz", showing his monogram/seal in various colours and denominations, including the three Scott-listed colour variants. Mostly lightly hinged, with a couple being never hinged. Issued 1934-1957 a tough definitive set all very fresh, three with selvedge. 2024 Scott US$416.00 = $561.60 $10.00

Includes the Yanbu Harbour, the Old City Walls, Riyadh and the Bedouin and Trains issue, plus six other smaller sets. Nicely mint and hinged, many lightly. Overlooked in its time, with appeal to Middle East and topical collectors. 2024 Scott US$598.25 = $807.64 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #395/447. Fourteen stamps from the "Dam" re-issue and six from the "Gas-Oil Plant" issue, both from 1966, a nice mint grouping with the backs ranging from never hinged to a couple with heavy hinging (#397) and one corner crease (#398). These mid-1960's Saudi definitives are very difficult to find, as reflected in the catalogue values. 2024 Scott US$450.00 = $607.50 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #449. The 100p value from the 1966 "Gas-Oil Plant" issue, a nice mint never hinged example, the second highest value from this key definitive set. Very small production values are finally being recognized by the collecting community. 2024 Scott US$400.00 = $540.00 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #C1/C32. A very complete run of the early mint airmail issues into the early 1960's. Includes #C1-C20, C24-32 (and C23 and C24 don’t exist). Attractive mint, about 1/4 are never hinged, the balance hinged, with the occasional bit of gum bending that is normal on these mid-century Saudi issues. A couple are slightly off centre, but the perforations are good the stamps are fresh. 2024 Scott US$397.05 = $536.02 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #C35/C98. It is amazing how difficult and valuable these mid-1960's airmail stamps are to find. Produced in small quantities in a section of the world that has only recently gained more recognition in the philatelic world. This group of 25 stamps includes better singles such as #C52, C64, C66 and C78. A few are never hinged, the balance are hinged with a few natural gum bends. 2024 Scott US$1029.50 = $1,389.35 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #J1/J30. A "sampler" of 22 different Saudi "Nejdi Administration" mint postage dues which start with a single from five different issues, noting J6 (blue overprint) and J9 (violet overprint). And then sets or partial sets up to 1961, when they stopped using stamps for postage due. Most are in decent hinged condition, with only the cheaper #J13 being a bit grubby, otherwise a nice group. 2024 Scott US$443.75 = $599.05 $11.00
Saudi Arabia #LJ17/LJ20. A trio of "Jedda" postage due overprints from 1925. The best is #17 the red stamp with red overprint, the only obvious fault is a small gum twinge on the back and has an owner’s handstamp. That same handstamp is on the back of #18, a lightly hinged blue stamp with red overprint. #19 is a never hinged single (blue stamp with blue overprint). All three with the overprint reading up. Not often seen. 2024 Scott US$622.50 = $840.40 $11.00
Saudi Arabia #O1/O34. Mint official Saudi issues are particularly difficult to find, and this page has a good offering with #O1-O6 complete (hinged), #O16-O20 (never hinged) and then some values from the 1965 set (#O21-O28, O33-O34, plus the better #O30 and #O38, these are all hinged). Great looking better Middle Eastern back of the book. 2024 Scott US$753.40 = $1,017.10 $10.00
Saudi Arabia #RA1/RA8. Nine different mint postal tax issues, most used a fund raiser for the Medical Aid Society which not surprisingly depicts the Mecca Hospital. The #RA2 is a very fresh, hinged example. There are two perforations of the 1946 "Flag and Map" design and a couple of shades. We rarely see these stamps and these are in very nice condition. 2024 Scott US$660.50 = $891.70 $0.00
Senegal #35/177, B3, C1-C11, J5-J6. Two pages of mint Senegal issued under French Administration, including a complete set of the "Navigation and Commerce" issue, a good run of the "Food Preparation" issue including #67 and #67A, with revaluations, and some Common Design issues, with a bit of "back of the book". Neatly mounted on manila stockpages, with up to 100 of a type, with shades, perforations (and imperforates) and some nice back of the book. Many $2-$10 sets and singles with a few better (such as 3 mint copies of #J11). The earlier are generally mint, and the more modern, generally used. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00
Southern Rhodesia #1/108. A very complete used offering of this short-lived African colony, including some King George V "Admirals", and the KGV portrait issue, including a few perforation variants, and the 1935 Silver Jubilee set (one of the better non-Common Design issues). The King George VI definitives are complete, as are most of the QEII definitives. Clean, with a number of readable cancels, and only the occasional minor fault. 2024 Scott US$550.35 = $742.95 $32.00

Most are first half of the Elizabethan era including Military, British East India, Royal Weddings and some common design issues) in quantities of up to 300 sets. We have corrected the counts and the catalogue values written on the envelopes (which were done many years ago). Some KGVI era material and one offs have not been counted in the total catalogue value. 2024 Scott US$1283.35 = $1,732.52 $10.00
St. Pierre and Miquelon #11/215. Attractive pair of pages filled with an assortment of mint stamps issued up to the end of World War II. The 20th century issues are the usual seafaring and fishing themed stamps, with some revaluations and a quartet of "France Libre" overprints, with a few Common Design stamps along the way. All are hinged, many quite lightly. 2024 Scott US$503.40 = $679.60 $13.00
St. Pierre and Miquelon #30/252, J27. Often harder to find than their mint counter parts, these two pages of postally used stamps, noting a couple of early "French Colonies" revaluations and eight stamps from the "Navigation and Commerce" series. Lots of fish, fisherman, birds, seafaring themes, including most of the 1932 set, a couple of "Cartier" overprints, some common design issues and five examples with "France Libre" overprints from the end of World War II and a Newfoundland dog postage due. Most with typical cancels, a couple are beauties, with few faults noted. 2024 Scott US$411.10 = $555.00 $15.00

Lots of "Camel Post" design issues, in various forms, including official overprints. A bonus is that even with some of the lower value items is that there are lots of multiples, often with side selvedge and a number of "cylinder" items. There is more used than mint, with lots of cancel potential. We noted catalogue values of up to $9.00 per stamp (and there are thousands of stamps here). Condition is excellent. Estimate = $180.00 $11.00
Sweden #2/48. This collector loved both early Swedish stamps, but also sought out nice cancels, including from smaller towns. This group of over 40 different stamps includes better (#2, #12, #27) as well as Scott listed shades. Even if you have a Swedish collection, there is a good chance that you will be able to upgrade to more attractive examples. Only a few minor faults noted. Lovely! 2024 Scott US$801.00 = $1,081.35 $0.00
Sweden #30/2591, O14/O22. The structural integrity of this shoebox is under pressure from being so full of one collector’s duplicates, running up to 2008, with a touch of back of the book. Neatly sorted into glassine envelopes, with lots of coils (with some pairs), beautiful cancels are everywhere. Not much over $3.00 in catalogue value, but there are thousands of stamps here and lots of exploring to be had. The overall condition is excellent! Estimate = $150.00 $0.00
Sweden #197/226. Selection of 20 different values from both 1924 UPU issues, including values to 2kr. What makes this group stand out is the number of readable hand cancels, including a couple from smaller centres. A couple with minor perf faults, otherwise a clean lot. 2024 Scott US$590.25 = $796.85 $0.00
Syria #4/52. Mint issues overprinted while under French Occupation, including examples of both the "TEO" and "OMF" overprints in two different currencies. More mint (and often never hinged) than used, with up to 100 of a type. There are some nice cancels on the used material. Fills a shoebox. Estimate = $130.00 $0.00
Thailand #3/242. Early mint Thailand can be difficult to find in decent condition, due to the humidity in the local climate, and that over 100 years has passed since issuance. This group should please anyone looking for fresh and attractive stamp, with a number of early issues, with overprints (both revaluations and "Jubilee", some higher denomination stamps and a few key post-war values. Notable singles include #195, 231, 232, 242 with lots of better items throughout. All are hinged, only a few are heavy or with remnants. 451 Tobago #8/30. Small accumulation of mint and used Queen Victoria issues including revalued, with a touch of duplication. Includes #8, 11, 13, 29 and others with catalogue values of $5.00-$25.00. A couple of the overprints have an owner’s handstamps on the back and there are a couple of attractive cancels. A couple of the used may actually be mint, no gum, but we have counted them at the cheapest catalogue value. A quick glance will tell you how fresh and relatively fault free this grouping is. A copy of #3 has a revenue pen cancel and is not counted in the total catalogue value. 2024 Scott US$561.50 = $758.05 $10.00
Togo #66/1599, B7/B15, C1/C39, J1/J73. A dozen manilla stock pages houses an accumulation of this former French African colony. The more recent include some partial panes and the infamous gold-foil coins. Includes a bit of QEII era airmails and officials. Has a little bit of duplication, generally less than 10 of a type. All housed on 17 manila stockpages. Estimate = $200.00 $30.00
Trinidad #42/107, J1/J17, O9-O10. Britannia designs dominate this lovely assortment of early Trinidad with better early issues such as #42, #47. The only duplicate is an attractive pair of the hand overprinted #67 tied to a small piece. The only revenue cancel is the 10/- "tall Britannia" #89, catalogued as such in Scott, and with a lovely "Registrar General" CDS cancel. The other strong parts are a nearly complete group of postage due issues, missing only #J16 and two official overprints. Only the occasional minor fault here. A lovely Victorian-Edwardian grouping. 2024 Scott US$858.75 = $1,159.30 $10.00
Tripolitania #5/58, B8/B50, C1-C19. Italian occupied North Africa, in what is now Libya, mostly inter-war overprinted stamps, including a trio of semi-postals and a complete run of the first 19 airmail issues. 456 Tripolitania #C21-C26. A complete used set of the 1933 "Graf Zeppelin" issue showing the dirigible with art-deco era representations of flight, such as "Mercury". An attractive sextet. The cancels appear to be good, but we will have to list these "as-is" as forgeries are common on this issue. 2024 Scott US$1055.00 = $1,424.25 $32.00
Tunisia #9/142. Selection of 62 mint early Tunisian issues (60 are different and 2 are gutter pairs with counting number. The best is from the second "Coat of Arms" set of 1888-1902 with denominations up to 2fr, plus a complete set of the 1906 definitives, with a selection of revaluations. The lot finishes with the four high values from the 1931 Amphitheatre design. Attractive mint, hinged grouping. 2024 Scott catalogue value US$591.25 = $798.19 $10.00
Tunisia #B1/B73. Near complete run of early mint semi-postal issues, including a few of the higher values and missing a couple of others. A great way to boost your North Africa back of the book. Missing only B17-B19 and B45-B46. 2024 Scott US$688.10 = $928.95 $10.00
Tunisia #JA1/JA22. The first postage due issues for Tunisia were regular issue stamps that had a "T" perfin. Listed in Scott Specialized, these issues make for a fascinating area of specialization. The panes were folded in half before being put through the perforating machine, leading to equal numbers of regular and inverted perfins (plus tete-beche pairs). This lot has a good representation of both positions. #JA4-7, JA11-15, JA17-18 all have no gum and are counted as used. The rest have full original gum. The #J21a (75c denomination) has a torn upper corner and its $175.00 catalogue value is not counted in the catalogue value. 2021 Scott Specialized US$324.00 = $437.40 $10.00

Estimate = $120.00 $15.00
USA Space Topical - Collection of space covers and material from the United States, generally ranging from the 1970's to the 1980's. Fresher appearance than normally seen. A good addition to your early British America or Caribbean collection. 2024 Scott US$718.50 = $969.95 $22.00
Wallis and Futuna #1/148,B1-B5, C1/C10. 464 Worldwide - A long red #102 box with 600+ #102 cards priced & ready for a dealer or collector to take to a club meeting. Most cards @ 1.00 each and has lots of good stuff, mostly mint NH sets from good countries (strong in Commonwealth), mostly modern, good topicals, hardly any CTO. Retail at least 600.00! Estimate = $150.00 $13.00
Worldwide - A neatly organized accumulation of many thousands of stamps filling a bankers box. The first part of the lot contains a few thousand worldwide stamps, organized by country ranging from A to Z, in small plastic bags in two shoeboxes. The lot continues with the same type of material, including some mint stamps, organized into a few hundred small plastic bags filling the bankers box. We note better representation from Germany, New Zealand, Romania, United States, along with some Commonwealth and French Colonies stamps. Ideal for the worldwide collector and completely unchecked by us. Estimate = $120.00 $11.00
Worldwide - A nice mint and used worldwide A to Z collection in 3 Citation albums, containing a few thousand stamps, with material ranging from the 1870s to the 1960s, with a few items on either side of the given range. This collection is sporadic in spots but does pack a punch, with better representation from Commonwealth countries including Canada (spotted 50c used Bluenose), India, Malta, Great Britain, West Indies, and more, along with French Colonies, Switzerland, etc. A spot check indicated singles, sets, and partial sets cataloguing $10 to $40 and up, including Gold Coast #98-99, 101-107 (mh, c.v. $138 total), Middle Congo #65-80 (mh, $48 total), Sierra Leone #148-148, 153-160 (mh, $67 total), leaving many other potential finds to dedicated collectors. Postmark interest includes cds, bridge, and other town postmarks, including several socked on the nose. A better than average collection, surely worth our low estimate, overall fine to very fine. Estimate = $300.00 $12.00
Worldwide - A trio of shoeboxes holding an Asian hoard of one collector’s duplicates. Don’t be intimidated by the size, this is very well organized and identified; your only job is to get down to enjoyment! The strongest section is probably the used Hong Kong, from mid-Elizabethan to early Chinese administration (includes 20 copies of #1013), with a group of string-tied bundles. There is a decent-sized group of used Korea, up to 1981. About half of one box is filled with (mostly) mint South Vietnam, and there is a bit of Laos, China (Republic) and a smidgeon of PRC and Manchukuo. There are many thousands of stamps here, with catalogue values up to $10.00 each and lots of cancel potential amongst the more common used. All sorted into glassines, with up to 100 stamps per envelope. Estimate = $300.00 $12.00
Worldwide - Accumulation of thousands of worldwide used stamps filling a carton. We estimate roughly 75% of the stamps are in well organized "freezer" bags, with many identified by Scott number, along with stamps on piece, glassines, etc. We note better representation from Canada, United States, and European countries, with material generally ranging from the 1930's onwards, with a few earlier stamps noted. Nice lot for the patient sorter, with possible postmark finds. Estimate = $130.00 $13.00
Worldwide - Aden to Zanzibar. Worldwide holding scattered in almost 1000 x #10 envelopes and in two envelope-sized boxes. This is a bit of a lottery, as these envelopes were used by the collector to sort their material and had pre-established all the envelopes before inserting stamps. As a result, there are lots of envelopes that are empty. But there are others that have lots of stamps (we took a random peek through some, and noticed used Canada, the 6c and 10c Jubilees, some early mint and used Cyprus, more Danish West Indies than you would normally expect, Germany, Great Britain, a nice selection of Heligoland, Newfoundland, etc). While most of the contents are loose, there are some glassines, "102 cards", approval pages etc. throughout. This appears to be a gold mine awaiting a dedicated miner. Estimate = $400.00 $11.00
Worldwide - Amazing African accumulation, one collector’s duplicates, a mix of mint and used. All sorted by country with individual items sorted into glassines (up to 100 stamps per glassine) with the Scott number lightly penciled. Belgian Congo, Eritrea, Somalia and lots of Tunisia. Overall, there is more mint than used, but there are many readable cancels. Most of the stamps seem to be under $5.00 catalogue value each, but this is perfect for collection or stock building. There is some back of the book. Fills a shoebox. Estimate = $130.00 $11.00
Worldwide - An accumulation of smaller European countries neatly filling a shoebox. Liechtenstein (the earlier material is mint, the later used), same for Monaco, Luxembourg is modern used, Saar is primarily used (with many nice cancels), and there is a touch of San Marino (mostly mint postage dues). Neatly sorted into glassine envelopes, with up to 100 examples per glassine (and there are a few hundred glassines). Scott numbers are in pencil. Individual catalogue values up to $5.00 each. There is value here for both collectors and dealers. Estimate = $140.00 $12.00
Worldwide - An estate balance filling a bankers box to the brim. Very strong in Sweden, noting handfuls of 1960's-1990's booklets, some presentation folders and off paper modern. There is a mounted collection from Belgium with a 20c blue King Leopold III peeking out from the first page. Noted four Japan presentation collections. Randomly we noted United States, Great Britain, Russia/USSR, Germany, an "animal" topical collection, some Cinderellas and TB labels plus 25 manilla stockpages with an assortment of worldwide. And there is more with packets, some 1970s British Commonwealth "new issues". Offered as received. Estimate = $180.00 $16.00
Worldwide - Bophuthatswana, Ciskei, Transkei, and Venda: the South Africa Homelands. A dealer's stock and accumulation of thousands of used, sorted in baggies and on stock pages. Note many different complete commemorative sets on paper cut from FDC's (may be the only way these come). Scott values for the Homelands are not big, but the volume here makes the total catalogue value huge, and these are obsolete seldom seen stamps! Estimate = $150.00 $12.00
Worldwide - Cinderellas, "back of the book", patches, etiquettes, cut squares all in a binder and a box. Noted lots of 1930’s labels in blocks, some souvenir sheets and stamp show promotional items, a few International Reply Coupons (including a couple different from Paraguay c.1952). There are some older such as Boyd’s City Dispatch, some CPR (steamship?) tickets, French Red Cross labels, Irish Sweepstakes tickets, plus an assortment of about 30 older patches from Canada (and some New Zealand). Caution: you will be working without a catalogue for most of this. Estimate = $140.00 $18.00
Worldwide - Collection of primarily used worldwide stamps in 6 Unisafe stockbooks, containing at least a few thousand stamps, ranging from A to Z countries, with better representation from Europe (noting Austria, France, Germany, to name a few), China (including PRC), A stockbook of just United States, and more. The stamps generally range from the 1920's to the 1980's, with some material noted on either side of the given range, with a spot check indicating a few sets cataloguing $5 to $10 each, leaving potential finds to the dedicated collector. A useful lot, noting the retail value of the stockbooks (32 page x4, 16 page x2), would be well over $100.00 alone! Overall fine to very fine. Estimate = $200.00 $12.00
Worldwide - Large collection of used Latin and South America in a Scott International album, containing over 3,500 different stamps, from C to V countries (also includes Mexico). A spot check indicated stamps generally ranging from the 1880's to the early 1970's, with better representation from Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Catalogue values are generally $1 and under, but note a wide variety of postmarks, and several opportunities for thematic and topical collectors. Would be a fun project to complete as the pages ranges from the 1870's to the early 1970's, including pages for "back of the book" issues. Surely worth our low estimate of under 4c a stamp. Estimate = $120.00 $15.00
Worldwide - Latin America accumulation, with lots of Argentina and Mexico, with some Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Panama and Venezuela. A mix of mint and used includes some back of the book. The mint is often in larger multiples which have been folded to fit in a glassine envelope. Includes catalogue values up to $5.00 each, so there are thousands of dollars of catalogue value. Mostly 20th century up to 1990. Well organized and very clean material. Estimate = $150.00 $12.00
Worldwide - Middle Eastern mint and used accumulation in two shoeboxes. The first has a collector’s neatly sorted duplicates by country and then Scott number, sorted into glassines. Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Mesopotamia, Palestine, Turkey, UAE. Stamps range from the 19th century to about 2000. Glassines seem to have 10-200 stamps each. The second is "Sand Dunes", with the topical rich issues (e.g. Space, animals, cars, sports) from a range of countries. Most of the sorting has been done, which makes it easier for you to get right to the fun and value. Estimate = $180.00 $11.00
Worldwide - Off paper extravaganza filling most of a bankers box. While definitely strong in Netherlands, there are many other countries represented here. Strength seems to be mid-20th century. Many thousands of stamps, as always with no order as these are completely free range, with no glassines or cards. Perfect for the individual or small group who like "the hunt". Offered as received. Estimate = $140.00 $11.00
Worldwide - Organized Chaos Part 1: Algeria to China (People’s Republic). A collector’s staging system before getting these stamps into their final spot. Sorted into #10 envelopes, mostly loose, but some glassines, "102" cards, approval pages etc. A mix of common and better mint and used individual items up to $10.00 catalogue value, with some non-Scott listed material and given the source, there is quite possibly better material lurking. Quantities seen from: Andorra, Angola, Austria, Azerbaijan, Azores, Belgian Congo, Belgium, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canal Zone, Cape Verde, and the biggest segment is probably China (ROC and PRC), and there are several other countries to a lesser extent. Includes material from the 19th century up to about 2010.
