Algeria #B1/B104. Mint Lightly Hinged run of 28 different sets of semi-postal stamps, from the 1927-1971 period, neatly arranged on a pair of stockpages. A lovely run of the "back of the book" issues. Owner's accurate 2022 Scott US$209.10 = $282.30 $10.00
Algeria #C1-C6, C4A. Complete mint Lightly Hinged set of the 1946 Airmail series, including both the Type I and Type II examples of the 20c brown value (the Type I being the elusive key-value). 2026 Scott US$230.90 = $311.70 $0.00
Australia #2, 6, 39, 44, 51, 52, 54, 97, 125. F/VF used group of early key Kangaroo issues. A tidy selection, with some nicely cancelled examples noted. 2025 Scott US$524.00 = $707.40 $10.00
Australia #200 Variety. VF mint Never Hinged example of the 2 ½d "Peace" issue of 1946, printed on unwatermarked paper. We could not find any additional examples of this variety for sale online. One of two items we are offering in this sale from an advanced Australia collection. Unlisted. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00
Australia #203 Variety. VF mint Never Hinged sheet-margin imperforate pair of the 1946 Thomas Mitchell 2 ½d value, with inverted watermark. Some natural gum bends and "rust spot" lower-right corner. A very unusual unlisted variety. The second Australian variety lot offered in this sale, from an advanced collection. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00
Australia #421/1715. Very well-organized collection of mint Never Hinged commemoratives ranging between the years 1966 to 1998. Noted some of the better sets and consists of 1,010 stamps and 26 souvenir sheets/mini-sheets. All housed on 62 Hagner pages, 5 single sided pages and 57 double sided. Pages, if new, would cost $200.00, alone. Australian face value AUD$504.52 in Canadian dollars = $459.10 $10.00
Australia - A fun lot of mint stamps from "down under", with a series of single pages (mostly former bid board lots), with a good range of 1960's-1970's issues, a Wetlands Conservation "duck stamp" sheetlet, a bit of postage dues and Antarctic Territory. Some modern "gutter pairs" and older "imprint" blocks, some mounted material from 1992-1993 (face A$50) and a bit of "old school" stock. The catalogue value here adds up quickly. Estimate = $160.00 $0.00
Australia - A handful of nearly a century of used Australia on pages and a few cards. Didn’t see any ‘Roos, but there are lots of King George V "Heads" (including a quintet of "OS" overprints), followed by fairly steady coverage from the 1930's right up to 2017. Because this material is from a variety of sources, some overlap and gaps can be expected, with some minor faults. The various owners’ recent catalogue values total over US$1500.00. Estimate = $160.00 $0.00
Australia - A Lighthouse stockbook loaded with mint Never Hinged stamps, including 160 stamps (pairs, blocks, strips counted as one stamp only-and there's lots of them), ten souvenir sheets & mini-sheets, and four booklets. Range from KGV Heads to 2010 issues (majority are QEII), includes a few AAT. All Never Hinged! Owner's 2022 Scott US$524.00 = $707.40 $0.00
Australia - Accumulation of primarily never hinged Australia, 1960's-2001, containing many hundreds of stamps in stock or album pages, several glassines and presentation packs. The lot generally ranges from Scott #388/1954, including sets, blocks, and more. A spot check indicated roughly 40 presentation packs, primarily from the 1980's to the 1990's, with some items cataloguing $10 and up, with face value alone estimated to be in the $300.00 range. A nice lot for the Australia collector or postage user, overall fine to very fine. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00
Australia - Collection / accumulation of primarily used Australia, 1913-1990's, containing over 1,500 stamps in several album or stock pages, and a stock book. The lot generally ranges from Scott #1/1235, including a small selection of Kangaroos, King George V Heads, Australian States and back of the book issues. A spot check indicates some items cataloguing $10 and up, with owner's 2013 Scott catalogue value for the lot totaling US$1,442.00 ($1946.70 CDN), leaving better finds to the dedicated collector, including two stock pages of town cancel types. A nice lot for the Australia collector, overall fine to very fine. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
Australia - First Day Covers, postal stationery, stationery view cards & commemorative cancel packs, almost all 1970's-1980's. A total of 300+ items, including the six packs of commemorative cancels from the 1988 Brisbane Commonwealth Games (face value A$75.00). The first day covers are all unaddressed with AustraliaPost cachets, face values to $10.00 and some souvenir sheets. The stationery is both mint and first day cancelled. Finishes with four sets of the "Maxi-card" postal card folders (red, blue, black, brown). Lots of original cost here. Estimate = $130.00 $0.00
Australia - Mint morass in a binder. There are some earlier, such as a dozen fresh looking King George V "Heads" to 1/4, and a trio of green and red postage dues. The original decimal Explorers are here (missing the two values that were issued later), and a handful of modern "Specimen" overprints. There is a hit-or-miss offering of 1930’s-2000 issues (including some 1980's Antarctic Territories (AAT) and a group of 2000's WWII/Victoria Cross issues. Lots of catalogue value here, and lots of face value. The later material appears to all be never hinged. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00
Australia - Not your usual annual collections grouping. The lot does have a range of 1981-1992 Australia Post issued annual collections (no 1982 or 1990), and there are three "Collector’s Yearbooks" from 1990-1993 (these have Framas, booklets and self-adhesives). This group of 13 had an original post office cost of about A$350.00. There is also a trio of folders from "Sherwood Philatelic" which have 1985 produced "annual folders" with five years of collections covering 1966-1970, 1971-1975 and 1976-1980, years that Australia Post did not produce annual collections, but they seemed to be jumping on the popularity of this relatively new product. There are some better items here (Explorer set, Christmas 1971 block of 7, etc.). While professionally designed, they obviously had some production challenges (and one has a torn folder from opening). Estimate = $170.00 $0.00
Australia - One of Australia Post’s interesting product launches, starting in the 1970's, was the release of hardcover books (like an annual collection) but only for a single issue (often four stamps and/or a souvenir sheet). They included an inserted presentation folder in the package and often charged A$15.00 each for these products. Presumably they were aimed at non-collectors or people looking for a gift for collectors, but they never seemed to be commercially successful as they were largely overlooked by the philatelic community at the time. Skip ahead a few decades and collectors realize how few of these exist (plus their weight to stamp value makes shipping single volumes untenable). This banker’s box includes 11 full sized books, six smaller sized, three soft-cover booklets a folder with a limited edition print for the "Waterbirds of Australia" and three of the "Collector’s Yearbooks" from 1990-1993 (these have Framas, booklets and self-adhesives). Substantial original cost and frankly, not a lot of postage value. Estimate = $150.00 $0.00
Australia - Seven "annual collections" (1982, 1985-88, 1991-1992) and a trio of "Frama, Booklet and Self-Adhesive Collections" (1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93). Some are unopened, the rest are in good condition (most are in their original sleeves). All have their full complement of stamps. Australian retail A$625.00, indicating a hefty amount of face value. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00
Australia and States - A small bundle of used on pages, the most valuable being from the States, mostly on one chaotic page covering all six states. Some early ‘Roos and King George V "Heads" are supplemented with a scattering of issues to about 2000, including some "back of the book". There is a complete booklet from 1966 with CTO panes and a group of seven railway revenues. The owners’ catalogue value is over US$1200.00. Estimate = $170.00 $0.00
Australia Covers - Group of roughly 350 Australia first day covers, 1980's-1990's, in 4 albums. The first two albums from the Australian FDC Society contain material from the 1980s, with the two Australia Post FDC albums containing material from the 1990's, with both having primarily singles and sets frankings, along with a few Australian Antarctic Territory covers. A nice lot for cover collectors, overall very fine. Estimate = $120.00 $0.00
Australia Covers - Group of roughly 375 Australia first day covers, 1960's-2008, in 5 albums with some loose material. We note singles, sets, and high denomination frankings, noting private cachet makers WCS, Royal, Parade Covers, just to name a few. A nice lot for the cover collector, overall very fine. Estimate = $140.00 $0.00
Australia States - Some assembly is required for this collection. Comes with a couple of sets of computer-generated pages for all six stamp-issuing states (there are some stamps on one set, the other is completely empty). To help you fill these pages are several groups of over 300 stamps from a number of sources. Includes some higher values, lots of nice cancels and a quartet of various "Specimen" overprints. Perfect to help you develop your expertise. Estimate = $240.00 $22.00
Austria #1264-1713, J260-J267. Comprehensive VF mint NH 1984 to 1996 period collection, all laid out in a Borek hingeless 6-ring album. Consists of 464 different stamps and 17 souvenir sheets/miniature panes. The original Post Office face value new issue cost of this collection was 3,313.50 Austrian Schillings (now obsolete but approximately $365.00 CDN) and the Borek album and pages retail new for another couple of hundred dollars. Estimate = $240.00 $10.00
Bechuanaland Protectorate #82, 83-91, 96-104. Complete mint Lightly Hinged trio of issues/sets including the 1912 George V overprinted single, followed by both the 1913-1924 and 1925-1927 George V overprinted sets. A lovely group, with fresh colour throughout. 2025 Scott US$182.40 = $246.25 $0.00

All mounted on nicely designed computer generated pages running from 1849 up to 2007. No "back of book" material. Scott catalogue value is $1,150.00 US. Over 1,500 different stamps total, plus several additional shades and items of cancel interest not counted in catalogue value. Quite comprehensive to 1980's, then a bit sparse, but good collection to build on. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
Benin #1383, C584. VF used duo of early 2000's surcharge issues. Extremely tough to find material, with Scott Catalogue doing its best to navigate this emerging nations issues. 2026 Scott US$130.00 = $175.50 $0.00

British Commonwealth - Accumulation of roughly 150 complete booklets, 1980's-1990's, loose in a box with representation from primarily Jersey, Guernsey, Ireland, along with a few from Hong Kong and Australia. A spot check indicated some items cataloguing $5 to $20 each, with only a portion of the lot catalogued by the owner (primarily the prestige booklets), totaling $550, leaving potential value on the table for collectors and dealers alike. Duplication generally ranges from 5 to 10 each, clean and very fine. Estimate = $150.00 $0.00

Assessed postage due (2c) and both postcards franked with Type-D Lathwork examples of the 2c Postage Due stamp (J2). Unitrade lists that used examples of Lathework are generally worth 80% of mint catalogue value, but also notes that "single franked non-philatelic examples used on cover are worth considerably more, often a multiple of used CV". While Type D Lathework has three listings for J2 (wet printing, dry printing, thin paper), as these are used on postcard, we can only assume the lowest given catalogue mint value ($800.00 for a single). A showpiece duo, exhibit worthy. Estimate = $350.00 $55.00
Canada #J6, J11-J14. Five purple postage due blocks all mint, never hinged. Includes the 1c from the short-lived 1930 "Second" issue and the complete set of four of the 1933-1934 "Third" set. All in mounts on hingeless pages (the F1/F2 stamps are used, rest mint). While we noted what seemed to be a majority of NH stamps (including both the $1.00 Train Ferries and $1.00 Fisheries), the entire lot has been catalogued as Hinged. 2026 Scott US1089.00 = $1,470.15 $11.00

Canada #O26a. VF mint Never Hinged UL Plate No.2 / Sheet-Margin block of 16 of the 1950 issue 10c Fur Trade, G official overprint, with missing the "G" in position. A showpiece example of this sought-after error, undervalued in the catalogue compared to how seldom we see these offered. Valued as a VFNH pair (as listed in Unitrade), but certainly worth more in a sheet margin / plate block. 2025-2026 Unitrade = $1,275.00 $325.00

Most of the collections are partial segments with some going back to #15 and others running into the 1990's. Some are mint, some are used, some are both. Some are collections, others were more "stock-like". We did see some higher cataloguing singles (e.g. Bluenose, 15c QV Jubilee) and there are a couple of jumbles of mint blocks that have potential. There could be some interesting cancels. A moderate amount of duplication is to be expected, as this material is from various sources. Some "back of the book" is scattered throughout. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00

Postmark interest includes cds, duplex, modern postmarks, noting several 'socked on the nose' town cancels. Thorough investigation could yield better finds by the dedicated collector. The lot begins with a Unity album, containing pages from 1851 up to 1993, with stamps only from the mid 1980s to the early 1990's, along with a stockbook of primarily hinged material from the Admirals period onward. The bulk of the lot is the loose material noting several singles, blocks and plate blocks, mostly from the 1960's to the 1980's. Face value alone is over $200, with some material cataloging in the $10 range. A nice start to a mint Canada collection. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00

Current 2026 Scott catalogue value for the collection totals $5,925.00 ($7998.75 CDN). A spot check indicated some stamps having gum disturbance from previous mounts, hinge remnants, and a few small faults, along with several lightly hinged stamps. Still a good lot of classic Canada, overall fine to better. Estimate = $750.00 $10.00
Canada - Collection of mostly never hinged Canada in a hingeless Lindner album with slipcase, 1897-1971, containing many hundreds of stamps. The collection ranges from Scott #66/553, along with a small selection of back of the book issues, very sparsely filled up to 1950, with virtual completion thereafter. We note a few items cataloguing in the $10 and up range, but it is essentially a nice starter collection in a high retailing album, and should be worth our low estimate. Estimate = $150.00 $0.00
Canada - Collection of primarily used Officials and other "back of the book" issues, containing a few hundred items on homemade or Wrigley album pages. The collection is better than your average starter collection as we note a few better items including perforated 5-hole officials with Unitrade #s O8-118 (used, $30), O8-234-235, O8-242 (used, $35), and Officially Sealed OX1 (used, $100, counted as fine), along with 4-hole 50c Munitions (x2), $1 Destroyer, and 50c Lumbering (x2). 122 Canada - Dealer’s stock of Canada Post souvenir items from the late 1960's to the early 1990's, with albums, panels, cards, folders. Generally good condition, a bit of duplication. All listed in Unitrade. Because of their size and relative value, these aren’t widely stocked and have become more popular as collectors realize the limited quantities that most of these were produced. About a wine box worth. Estimate = $130.00 $12.00
Canada - Eclectic lot collected for town postmarks, roughly 600 in total on and off piece, in a few small stockbooks, several homemade pages, and loose odds and ends. A very tidy and unpicked lot for the specialist and well worth our low estimate. Estimate = $150.00 $11.00
Canada - Large accumulation of used Canada, Small Queens to modern issues. The lot contains roughly 25,000 stamps in a variety of formats and is nicely organized considering the amount of material present. The lot begins with a Lighthouse stockbook containing roughly 4,000 pre-1950 issues (mainly low to medium value definitives, with plenty of postmark interest); a Lighthouse stockbook with roughly 3,000 stamps of mostly high denomination stamps from the 1960s onwards; a binder containing over 1,000 stamps of back of the book material (War Tax, revenues, special delivery, a few precancels, along with modern covers and used booklet panes, and more); and roughly 17,000 stamps neatly organized by Scott number in glassines or plastic pouches (1950's onwards). A nice potentially high cataloguing lot for the used collector as we note a good variety of cancel types including several 'socked on the nose' town postmarks. Should be well worth our low estimate of 1c per stamp. Estimate = $250.00 $11.00
Canada - Large accumulation of used Centennial issues, with well over 10,000 low denomination stamps (1c-8c), on and off paper in a few formats. The lot includes roughly 8,000 stamps in bundles of 100 each, neatly organized in a small box, along with several glassines organized by denomination, plus a box of a few thousand on paper stamps, along with a few covers to round out the lot. Completely unchecked by us for the host of possible papers, varieties, taggings and other aspects these issues are known for. A nice winter project for the specialist. Overall fine to very fine. Estimate = $140.00 $10.00
Canada - Large used collection of Canada 1859-2020, containing a few thousand stamps, neatly organized in roughly 55 double-sided Vario stock pages, housed in a thick binder. This collection has a little bit of everything including a few Small Queens, Jubilees, Leafs, Numerals, and continues with sets and partial sets of Edwards (full set), Quebecs (up to 7c), Admirals, Scrolls (up to 50c Bluenose), and complete sets of Arch, Pictorials, War and Peace issues. The collection continues with a good run of issues, including many modern used (8 double sided pages of post-2010 issues), along with a small selection of officials (perforated and overprinted), special delivery, revenues, and Newfoundland. A nice lot with duplication up to 10 for only a few issues. Online photos show a small sampling. Estimate = $300.00 $12.00
Canada - Lovely mint and used collection of Canada, 1859-1971, containing many hundreds of stamps on quadrille pages housed in two springback albums. This well organized collection ranges from Scott #14/557, beginning with used material from 1859 to 1950, and then transitions to mint and a used example for almost every issue up to 1971. Just some of the better material includes #s 14, 15 (x6), 18-19, 21-22, 24, 25 (x2), 30, along with 64 Small Queens including 10c (x3), 20c and 50c Widow Weeds, a selection of Jubilees including 20c and 50c issues, and continues with sets and partial sets of Leafs, Numerals, Edwards, Quebecs, Admirals, Scrolls, up to the Peace issues, including coils and back of the book issues. The collection post 1950 includes mint and used material including an attempt to have mint and used mini-panes, booklet panes, Christmas centre blocks of 4, tagged issues, and much more. Postmark interest includes cds, squared circles, duplex, and more. A lovely collection with a potentially high catalogue value, a few small faults with a few of the stamps, overall fine to very fine. Estimate = $300.00 $11.00
Canada - Mint Booklet Holding. A collector's array of QEII era booklets, ranging from the 1967 Centennial series, up to the mid-1990's. A total of 22 booklets in total. Face value alone is $85.77. Owner's 2025-2026 Unitrade = $327.00 $10.00
Canada - Mint collection of Canada in a hingeless Schaubek album with slipcase, 1870-1980, containing many hundreds of stamps. The collection ranges from Scott #35/877, including back of the book issues, and strength with coil singles and pairs, beginning with a few Small Queens, Jubilees (1/2c to 50c), partial sets of Leafs, Numerals, Edwards, Quebecs, Admirals, Scrolls and Arch issues. The lot continues with a few complete sets noting Medallion (mh, c.v. $142 total), 1935 Pictorial (nh, $182 total), hinged War issues, and never hinged Peace issues. The collection appears to be in mixed condition up to the 1930's (a few no gum and other small faults), with a mixture of hinged and never hinged post 1935 (we estimate 95% completeness after this date). A spot check still revealed a few better stamps including #s 82-83 (mh, $975), 110, 115, 117 (mh, $170 total), along with a few other singles including coil singles and pairs cataloguing $20 and up. A good collection with lots of potential and should be worth our conservative estimate. Estimate = $500.00 $13.00
Canada - Mint Hinged/Never Hinged holding of singles, blocks, plate blocks and small groups, all assembled in 100x "102" cards. Lots of better items noted, including coils, early issues, "back of the book" and multiples. Well worth the reasonable estimated value. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00

Canada - Modern Mint Madness. A high-quality offering of mint Never Hinged 1990's to 2010's stamps, sheets, souvenir sheets, Post Office packs and booklets. All neatly arranged on pages within a small box. MANY better items noted, such as the Vancouver 2010 Olympics OVPT souvenir sheets (in P.O. pack), "P" values (booklets and sheets), Lunar New Years, full sheets etc. All conservatively valued for the total usable postage value only. Total face value = $817.85 $130.00

The lot contains singles, se-tenant pairs, and a few panes, including Unitrade #s 1687 Loon (x27); 1688-1689 White-tailed Deer and Atlantic Walrus (x25 singles, se-tenant pairs x19); 1690 Polar Bear (x31); 1691-1692 Peregrine Falcon and Sable Island Horse (x8 singles, se-tenant pairs x3, panes x2); 1693 Moose (x36); 1694 Grizzly Bear (singles x64, pane x1); 2405 Blue Whale (singles x21, blocks of 2 x6); 3129 Bighorn Sheep (singles x4, plate block x1). Estimate = $250.00 $11.00
Canada - Over a century of assorted mint singles and a couple of sets, from Queen Victoria into the 1980's. This is the balance of an estate, and we have amalgamated some material, and left others on their original pages. While the appearance is generally good, there is a wide range of condition on the back, from hinge remnants to never hinged (and a couple which have no gum). There is a bit of lower denomination Queen Victoria to King George V with some coils (singles and pairs), The Medallion, Silver Jubilee and Peace sets, plus the higher values from the "War" issue. There is some Elizabethan material including Centennial blocks, Winnipeg tags. Estimate = $140.00 $0.00
Canada - Post Office issued products consisting of Thematic Collections (mostly unopened), presentation cards, QEII anniversary folders and a whole host of various Canada Post products (mostly 1967-2012, with none of the large format annual collections). Often overlooked in their day, many produced in small quantities, once these became listed in Unitrade, demand increased and the lack of supply became apparent. There is a bit of minor duplication here, and a total catalogue value that is likely several hundred dollars. Fills a medium sized box. Estimate = $150.00 $12.00
Canada - Pre-Packaged Stamps. Very rare group of Canada Post produced and recently Unitrade listed "Pre-Packaged Stamps" marketed by the Post Office in the mid 1960's and early 1970's. The group consists of 21 mostly different packs, identifiable in Unitrade. The cellophane packaging is also very fragile and usually found in damaged condition. These packs are all still all sealed, and in well above-average condition. These "prototype" stamp packs are much rarer than any thematic collection, quarterly pack or annual collection. Estimate = $200.00 $15.00
Canada - Private Perfins. Specialized collection of roughly 300 stamps, neatly organized on homemade pages, with material generally ranging from the 1920s to the 1950s. The collection is organized by the roughly 25 different companies or government agencies, with each stamp meticulously identified by the owner including inverted patterns, double punched, towns, types, etc. A very nice lot of this popular collecting area, with each page photographed online. Estimate = $150.00 $13.00
Canada - Quarterly Packs. A clean offering of 5 different P.O. issued Quarterly Packs, from 2012 (Q3), 2013 (Q1/Q2) and 2014 (Q1/Q2). Includes many sought-after die cut singles as well as blocks and souvenir sheets. These are now listed in Unitrade but not yet priced, conservatively grouped / counted by the original purchase price, which is lower than what is actually enclosed in the pack due to the increase in value of the Permanent stamps. Original Canada Post cost = $202.30 $14.00
Canada - Regular Davo albums volume II and III covering 1965 to 2000, in 2-post binders with matching slipcases. Has owner-applied clear mounts, but no stamps. You can’t buy non-hingeless Davo albums anymore (new for these two volumes will set you back $800.00, and the binders alone retail for about $200.00). A nice way to get some classy albums covering the last third of the 20th century. Estimate = $140.00 $0.00
Canada - Starter collection of used Canada, 1870's-1970's, containing a few hundred stamps neatly organized in a Harris album. The collection ranges from Scott #18/561, including a few coils, back of the book issues, and a small group of Newfoundland stamps. The lot essentially begins with a few Small Queens, and partial sets of Leafs, Numerals, Edwards, Quebecs (up to the 7c), Scrolls (noting $1 Parliament), along with a few complete sets of Admirals and 1935 Pictorials. Includes Official 2003 All-Stars Game puck, six Medallions, Limited Edition "wafer" (essentially a plaque), pane of NHL All-Stars stamps and information booklet. All houses inside a "leather style" presentation box (and within the original Post Office paper box). We seldom see these, as most collectors balked at the original cost of $89.99. As such, they are now hard to find and missing from most collections. Listed in Unitrade, but undervalued (in our opinion). 2025-2026 Unitrade = $135.00 $11.00
Canada - Thematic Collections #81, 96, 101f, 106. A quartet of Post Office issued Thematic Collections including the 1998 RCMP Coin/Stamp Presentation Set (includes a 1oz Silver Coin, worth well over $100 in silver value alone, compared to the $75 catalogue value), 2000 Polar Bear Stamp/Coin Set, 2001 NHL All-Stars (Syl Apps) and 2001 Blue Jays Baseball Stamp and Medallion set. Attending a stamp show in Paris during the WWII German occupation must have been an odd experience, to say the least. Note: production of the C445 resumed after the war.
