Interesting collection of Sovereign Order of Malta, 1960's-1990's, containing several stamps, roughly 40 souvenir sheets, and 75 first day covers. The majority of material is on roughly 30 well organized homemade pages, beautifully laid out, showing stamp sets, souvenir sheets, and first day covers, from the 1960's to 1979. The lot also include souvenir sheets in stock pages, and loose first day covers. While not recognized by Scott, the stamps are issued for both postal and charitable reasons. Despite over 50 bi-lateral postal agreements the stamps are usually classed as Cinderellas as they do not have postal validity throughout the world. Most postal agreements are with countries in which the order does charitable work. A clean and most interesting lot, ideal for Cinderella, topical and thematic collectors. Estimate =
