Box 1: A "wild and wonderful" estate balance filling a bankers box. In no particular order, there is a series of stockpages with British Commonwealth, strong in 1937-1960's "Common Design" issues, plus some other pages of assorted used material (the page of Cyprus was catalogued by the owner at $250+). There is a couple of Indonesia presentation folders and one from Iceland (1952) plus a small concentration of material from Malaya, Liberia, Nepal, USA plus some "Art" stamps. The sleeper here is a pair of almost 100-year-old books, one a stockbook with mint and used Europe-strong multiples and a starter collection in a notebook with some nice 1920’s-1930’s Canada (the mint appears to be heavily stuck, but we were able to free a few up, leaving them with quite light hinging).
