BC British Columbia Postal History. A historically interesting and important group of 7 covers, all dated 1876/1877 (6 of which have letters/contents) posted from Victoria BC to Henry Morgan "State Department" Ottawa. All look to be sent from Government House, by Morgan's wife, with some of the letters being on official "Government House, British Columbia" stationery. The letters are a bit tough to read, and some might need some re-ordering or are incomplete. Of particular note, is an interesting 1877 dated printed invitation for a dinner/dance. All covers sent as political / government Free Franks, with both "Victoria BC" and "Victoria Brit.Col" postmarks. Estimate =
