Collection of primarily used United States, 1853-1987, containing over 1,500 stamps in two volumes. The first volume contains Minkus album pages in a Harris album, with roughly 1,300 used stamps ranging from Scott #11A/1682, containing mostly pre-1920 issues, along with coils, precancels, and a few back of the book issues. The second volume contains a variety of mint stamps from the 1980's, along with souvenir cards. A spot check indicated a few stamps cataloguing $10 and up, with face value estimated in the $75 to $100 range. A good starter collection, noting a few faults with some of the early issues.
