Collections of British Africa collected for town postmarks, 1900's-1990's, containing many hundreds of stamps (mostly on piece), and over 100 covers on many homemade pages housed in 4 binders. We note roughly 100 different towns represented from Swaziland (ranging from B-T), Basutoland / Lesotho (A-T), Uganda (A-U), and Kenya (N-Y, most notably from Nairobi), with each town represented with at least one stamp or cover. Just a few of the towns encountered include Nhlangand, Tshaneni, Lebihan Falls, Quthing, and much more. The collections also include several pages with cancel information and many illustrations of town cancel types, maps, and more.
