Newfoundland Postmarks. Nice group of roughly 500 covers collected for Newfoundland town postmarks, 1960's-1970's, loose in a box. A cursory check of material indicated a few hundred different towns ranging from A to W including Black Siding, Cappahayden, Paradise River, Freshwater P.B., Fischot Islands, and so many more colourful town names. We note a nice mix of commemorative (1970s), and definitive frankings, along with some corner card advertising with mostly the roughly 100 #10 sized envelopes. Postmark interest includes cds, duplex, POCON, machine, and split ring types. A nice lot for the Newfoundland or Canada postmark collector. Estimate =
