Fine collection of mint Great Britain, 1924-1989, containing many hundreds of stamps all in hingeless mounts in a Stanley Gibbons album. This neatly organized collection generally ranges from Scott #185/1284, including a very good representation of Machins in period, and a few souvenir sheets. A spot check indicated a mix of hinged and never hinged material up to the 1960's, with never hinged material post 1970, noting 98% completion from 1972 to 1989. We note a few better items with #s 251A, 275 (nh, $75 total), 286-289 (lh, $80 total), 292-308 (lh, $101 total), along with a few sets cataloging $10 and up each, with face value estimated to be in the £75 to £100 range. A nice starter collection with some better material within, a slight odor on the pages from storage, but does not appear to affect the stamps, overall fine to very fine. Estimate =
