An assortment of Africa and Middle East, many of which were former bidboard lots, all untouched since purchase. In order of appearance, there is a used pair of Iraq #O229a with narrow overprint (cat $95.00), a mounted collection of use Bahrain from 1933-2002 (cat $222.00) and some cat topicals from an assortment of countries. The are followed by Lebanon which has a couple of pages of mint never hinged 1966-72 (cat $122.00), a mix of mint and used from several countries (e.g. Iran, Kuwait, Palestine, UAE) cat $419.00 and some Jordan mini-sheets (cat $297.00). Africa is a bit more lightly represented, with wholesale quantities of two Zaire souvenir sheets (cat $82.50), "recent" Somalia thematics from 2002 (not listed in Scott, but Yvert is apparently €120.00). Finishing with a batch of Bileski-promoted Liberian trial colour proofs of the 1959 African Freedom Day set. Not the type of material that we regularly see. Estimate =
