Four-volume "World’s Fair" collection of mostly covers and post cards. Strength is in Montreal Expo ’67 with reciprocating issues from many countries, noting cancels, exhibition and pavilion cachets/handstamps, Cinderellas. Over 60 Expo ’88 Brisbane cacheted covers - the cachets are all the same, but there are all-different cancels honouring various countries’ "Day" in a bespoke binder. The lot concludes with two large binders of post cards. Some go back to the 1930's, but we saw a number from Seattle ’62, significant quantities of different Montreal ’67 (lots of "Benjamin" cards), Osaka ’70, Spokane ’74, Vancouver ’86, plus a bit of non-Expo material. An extensive holding with hundreds of items, not easily replicated. Estimate =
