An eye-catching array of "stamp art" postcards x31, which feature creatively trimmed postage stamps, used as collage material for colour to make up a "silhouette" image. These postcards look to all be made by the same artist, and judging by the stamps used, date to the 1930's (although stamps go back to the turn of the Century). We note stamps used from Germany, Japan, Austria, Netherlands, Canada, Hungary, Switzerland, UK (and more). A nice lot which would make for an excellent conversation piece of "something different".
