Alberta Postal History. Nice accumulation of roughly 1,000 covers collected for Alberta town postmarks, 1960's-2022, filling a bankers box. A cursory check indicated several hundred different towns, including several RPO offices from major centres, ranging from A to Y, including Southland Crossing RPO, Heisler, York Landing, Nanoose Bay, Redwater, Redcliff, Hidden Valley, Drayton Valley, Czar, Mackenzie Towne RPO, and so much more. Postmark interest includes cds, split ring, pictorial, Klussendorf, MOON, and POCON types, including a few ancillary postmarks noting "Letter Carrier Depot No 1", "Calgary Alberta Lock Boxes", and a few others. Duplication for some towns range from 10-20 and up, with most towns having a variety of postmark types and frankings. A very nice lot for the Alberta or Canada postmark town collector. Estimate =
