South America - Chile & Peru. An attractive old-time Minkus album, with pages for both countries running from the beginning to the mid-1980's. A mix of both mint and used, many of the mint (especially the later periods) are in mounts, leaving the stamps Never Hinged. The Chile section runs 1862-1985 (#11/693), with 1060 stamps including "back of the book" issues (catalogue US$1348.10). The Peru section runs 1858-1983 (#4/788) with 1017 stamps, including "back of the book" (catalogue US$1125.10). Expect the odd fault, some loose stamps that need placing, and perhaps the odd reprint in the earlier material. That being said, this is an excellent opportunity for any South American collector, with a still usable old-time album as a bonus. Total 2026 Scott US$2,473.20 =
