Collection of mint and used Great Britain, 1841-1993, containing roughly 1,200 stamps in a lovely hard cover Davo album. The collection generally ranges from Scott #3/1519, containing mint and or used singles, sets, partial sets, panes, souvenir sheets, Machins, Regionals, and back of the book issues. The collection is generally used up to 1950, with the collection morphing into a mint and used collection (the collector aimed for a mint and used example for many issues, with the used example under the mint in most cases). The collection begins with a decent selection of 60 Victorian issues noting just a few with #s 3-4, 26-27, 32, 34, 39, 43, 45, 49, 54, 57-59, 61-62, 64, 73, with a spot check indicating stamps cataloguing $20 to $60 and up each, and continues with sets from the KGV reign, a few Seahorse issues, with a good level of completeness from the 1960s onwards. We estimate roughly £125 of face value alone. A collection worthy of continuation, especially in this quality album. A few faults with a few of the stamps, overall fine to very fine. Estimate =
