Nice collection of mint and used Germany, 1872-1984, containing a few thousand stamps neatly arranged in a Minkus album. The collection generally ranges from Scott #1/1422 containing singles and sets, including several semi-postals, along with airmails, souvenir sheets, and selections of German States, Saar, and occupations. The collection begins with just over 20 different large and small shield issues from 1872 noting a few better including #s 10 ($85), 24 ($60), including a few cataloguing $10 and up each, and continues with primarily used stamps up to the 1930s, with a mix of mint and used thereafter. We note strength in back of the book issues including B33a-d (mh, $120 total), C35-C37 (used, $118 total), along with some sets cataloguing $10 and up. A nice collection that should be continued with online photos showing a sampling, overall fine to very fine. Estimate =
