The Ugly Duckling. Don't let the looks deceive, there is plenty of usable value here! Two volumes, completely overstuffed, with historic water damage (mostly minor, but will affect some of the mint stamps) and no structural integrity. Volume 1 is Scott International Part II (1941-1949), with stamps from hundreds of countries (strong in China, saw a mint Hong Kong Centenary set, some nice Bermuda "key plates", as well as a bit of "out of period" material; didn’t see any Canada or US, but it could be hiding). Thousands of stamps here, both mint and used. The second is 2003 Scott catalogue "J-O" countries that has suffered a similar fate. The stamps are mostly tucked into the pages and will need some extensive shaking before they come out. You are going to need time and patience with this one, but there are lots of goodies here, if you can get past the first appearance. Estimate =
