A worldwide "Back to the Future" lot of mint and used worldwide stamps, 1940s'-1970's, with many hundreds of stamps in a thick stockbook and loose material. The strength of the lot is the several hundred approval glassines, from the "Kenmore Stamp Co", containing mint and used singles and sets generally ranging from the 1940s to the 1970s, and probably purchased at some point in the 1970's. Original cost for most glassines range from 25c to $1.00 for a total of all glassines at $244.00 US (using 1975 as a base, adjusting for inflation, this is equivalent to $1,523.00 in 2026). A spot check of a few glassines indicated some material now cataloguing $5 to $10 each, with an original price at 50c to 75c each, leaving potential finds to dedicated collectors.
