First Flight Covers Part 1. Nice group of roughly 110 first flight covers, 1924-1929, neatly arranged in several 2-row stock pages in a binder. We note first flights from across the country, with mostly C1 airmail frankings, along with 1920s definitive and commemorative issues, noting a few better flights including 1924 Estevan Winnipeg interrupted flight (no CLP5 stamp), August 3, 1928 Victoria-Vancouver first flight franked with CL44 (c.v. $175), an interesting 1926 Vancouver to Tijuana, Mexico (with receiver), and a 1925 Victoria to Seattle via seaplane flight cover, along with a few postmaster signed covers. A nice group for the airmail collector, overall fine to very fine. (see Lot 43 in this sale for part 2). Estimate =
