Interesting group of postal history items beginning with an interesting collection of 'Free Franking' privileges from civil servants, mostly Deputy Ministers from a variety of departments. This collection contains a good variety of handstamps, including the latest known rubber handstamp from the Public Works on an 1889 Small Queen cover, a variety of 'Free' machine cancels, OHMS forms, meter mail types, handstamp types, and more, including several write-ups on exhibit style pages. The lot also includes used and unused postal stationery, first day covers, a few bags of hundreds of modern town cancels (appearing to be from The Yukon and Maritime Provinces). A very interesting group and the 'Free Franking' collection should be continued and perhaps exhibited in the future. Estimate =
