Alberta Postmarks. Huge collection of Alberta town postmarks, 1910-1990s, with a likely few thousand items stuffed into many stock pages housed in three full binders. The collection is well organized alphabetically ranging from towns A to Y, noting many hundreds of individual town in total, including Picture Butte, Rocky Rapids, Scapa, Sunny Brook, Hathersage, Abee, Youngstown, Rosemary, Vilna, and so much more. The material itself is overwhelming in its variety with stamps on and off piece, postcards, receipts, tags, covers (including a few corner advertising), and more, noting a wide variety of postmark types including cds, duplex, split ring, MOON, POCON, military (including a few blackouts), and likely others, with some towns having more than one postmark type. A lovely lot for the Alberta or Canada town postmark collector, with online photos showing some sample pages. Estimate =
