Part 1. Wonderful United States military correspondence all sent to Mr. William Ludwig (a few sent to "Mrs. Ludwig"), with roughly 225 covers, ranging from 1942 to 1945, when he was addressed as Private, then Corporal, and later Sargent. The bonus with this lot is that every cover contains the letter enclosure, primarily when he was stationed at Camp Roberts. We note some covers having APO postmarks, censor handstamps, mostly sent surface or airmail, with a few free and registered frankings. A nice military group with possible social history study.
