FDC accumulation of many hundreds (likely over 1,000) of Canada first day covers filling a bankers box. A cursory check indicated material ranging from the 1950's to the 1990's, with material possible on either side of the given range, noting singles, blocks, sets, plate blocks and souvenir sheet frankings. The lot includes a good number of private cachet covers, notably Rose Craft but did spot a few other makers, along with a few signed by notable people, and a group of announcements postmarked at Courtenay, B.C., all appearing to be from 1970. Some covers are sleeved, with duplication up to 5 or more for a few issues. A nice lot for collectors or show dealers. Estimate =
