Alberta Postal History. Large collection / accumulation of Alberta postmarks stuffing a Uhaul carton. The lot contains several hundred covers and stamps (on and off piece) collected for postmarks on hundreds of homemade pages in 5 binders and loose pages. The lot appears to have towns ranging from letters C to E, R to T, with other possible towns included within, with most of the material ranging from the 1930s to the 1990s, with material possible on either side of the given range. A cursory check indicated just a few of the postmarks include CDS, MOON, POCON types, pictorial, Klussendorf, and possibly more. We note a good number of socked on the nose postmarks on the single stamps, with a mixture of commercial, first day covers, registered mail, and postcards found within. A nice lot for any Canada or Alberta postmark collector. Estimate =
