Collection of mint and used Syria 1919-1964, with several hundred stamps in hingeless mounts on roughly 75 well described homemade printed pages. The collection begins with a mixture of mint and used singles and sets from the French Mandate, including overprints, airmails and more, with majority of mint singles and sets from the 1940s onwards, with owners notations including Scott and or Stanley Gibbons numbers for each stamp. Scott catalogue totals US$1,572.00, noting several sets cataloguing $20 to $40 and up each. The collection also includes a few hundred stamps on well filled stock pages which appear to be the owner's duplicates (not counted in the beforementioned catalogue value).
