Mounted collection of used pre-1970 Ceylon starting with some beautiful early Queen Victoria imperforates with shades, and more from the perforated issues (up to 2/-) with notations of various watermark positions. The later Victorian issues include better singles, cancels, a "CAVE" overprint, and lots of revaluations. There is "Keyplate" issues of the QV and KEVII eras. The KGV and KGVI issues include some of the perforation varieties, and then coverage is light through the QEII period up to Independence, with a bit of "back of the book".
