Modern mounted collection on computer-generated pages from 1950 to 2000 (for Japan) and 1989-2007 (for the "Prefecture" issues). The main Japan section has a bit of mounted material from the 1960’s, but it also has 16 Vario brand pages with a range of mint issues, folders, a few recent mint souvenir sheets, and a couple of tourist folders, and several stockpages of assorted material going back to the early 20th century. The "Prefecture" issues are much stronger, with about 500 different, representing a significant completeness of used singles up to 2006, including some attempts to recreate booklet stamps. We don’t often see lots this modern, and the prefecture issues have some lovely topical themes. Estimate =
