The 1906 "Scenery" issue was produced with a series of "compound" perforations, where sheets were divided up with line perforators of differing gauges, in seemingly random patterns. This resulted in stamps that had two or three different perforations on each side. These are listed in Michel and Scott Specialized and pose an interesting collecting challenge. This lot includes an assortment of values from six different perforation combinations, ranging from three to seven values. Includes five different versions of the 5Kr "Franz Joseph".
