First Day Covers Collection. One man's collection of 524 covers from the 1949-1980 period, neatly arranged within a small box. An interesting view of how FDC collectors managed over the decades, with the earliest being odds and ends (cachet / no cachet) before eventually shifting to private cachet makers (primarily Rosecraft / Capital City), then in the 1970's starting to collect Canada Post produced FDC (all the early #8 size) along with some later private cachet's (NR). The majority are addressed to a single collector in Victoria BC. The two best items (that we could find) are pictured on top. A fun sort for the FDC enthusiast. Estimate =
