Alberta town cancels on cover, mostly from the Elizabethan era. The strength is in three bundles of philatelically created cancels, sent by a collector to post offices asking for an example of their hand cancels. There is a bundle circa 2000 and two more with about 300 #8 covers created between 2010-2016 (very strong in Calgary sub-offices). This was an expensive proposition and many of these cancels (and offices) were very short lived. There is another handful of 1970’s postally used covers and a homemade book with a mix of postally used over-sized registered covers circa 1980’s with a good range of rates and cancels (from "C" to "G" towns). Lastly, there is an album with a mix of covers and stamps/pieces from "AB" to "AL" towns. A total of about 600 covers, perfect for the modern cancel researcher. Estimate =
