These two forerunner colonies of Uganda produced some beautiful stamps. This page includes 23 different mint issues from BEA, starting with the "Sun and Crown" issue, including values to 5 rupees. There are a couple of overprints on Indian stamps and five values from the Queen Victoria and Lions issue. Scott catalogue $246.24, not counting the imperforate single #15a. Its successor colony is represented with 32 different mint issues, mostly King Edward VII, with a bit of King George V (Scott catalogue $307.35). Lots of $5-$20 stamps throughout. A couple have not much original gum, but the gum side of most is in far better condition than is normally seen from these 100+ year old stamps out of Africa. Total 2024 Scott US$553.60 =
