WWI Postal History. An interesting assembly of British (x37) and USA (x14) covers / postcards, largely from WWI forces in France. A nice variety of censor and Field Post Office markings, with most be easily read (these were notorious for poor cancellation strikes). A few highlights include a cover to the Postal Corps B.E.F. (British Expeditionary Forces) in France, a note from the Postal Censor explaining why a postcard was refused, an illustrated Cigarette "thanks" postcard and a registered cover to the Egyptian Expeditionary Forces (returned to sender). Several of the covers have the original letters enclosed. A total of 51 items. Estimate =
