Collection of mint and used Japan, 1880's-1990's, containing a few thousand stamps, in roughly 100 well described pages, housed in 2 binders. The collection begins with primarily used issues up to 1940, and continues with a mixture of mint and used material, with some issues having a mint and a used example, along with a selection of souvenir sheets. A spot check revealed a few items cataloguing $10 and up, including Scott #519 (mh and used, c.v. $75 total), leaving better finds for the dedicated collector. Postmark interest includes bridge and other town postmark types.
