Complete Mint hinged set of the 1932 "Nomads of the Desert" issue to commemorate the Northwest Scientific Expedition of Sven Hedin. A small amount of these sets were sold at face-value in cities like Peking, with the remainder given to Sven Hedin and sold at $5 (Chinese dollars) by Hedin to finance the expedition. KB (Kasimir Bileski) expertising mark on the reverse of two of the values (likely a set marketed by him). These sets regularly sell online for over catalogue value!!
