QEII balance of a massive holding (Part 1) of mostly late 1960’s, early 1970’s covers, mostly used within Alberta from a collector fascinated with the use of fluorescent/hi-brite paper. A secondary benefit is that that is a study of rates (particularly Centennial) and obsolete machine and hand cancellations from small Prairie towns. This large tub includes mounted studies of Centennial and contemporary commemoratives (e.g. ILO, Osler), but there is an envelope box and several bundles of roughly separated but not studied covers (often slightly oversized).
