Wholesale accumulation of over 700 used examples of the 1d Lilac, Queen Victoria definitive from 1881. There are seven glassine envelopes of at least 100 copies each, as received from the consignor. Two glassines worth were put onto black stockpages to give you a sense of what is here. Despite purporting to have 200 copies, there were almost 230 stamps inside. We have left the remaining 5 glassines intact, but they appear to have a wide diversity of usages, shades. While we aren’t making any promises, the indication is that they haven’t been checked to find copies of #88 (the 14 dot corner angles). Perfect for cancel, shade or calendar collectors.
