First Day Covers. Interesting collection of "V. A. Sadd" Canada first day covers, 1967-1974. The collection consists of covers sent to Mr. Sadd, or self addressed covers with V. A. Sadd & Co. Ltd company advertising envelopes, or Atlas Assurance Company Limited (as it would appear Mr. Sadd was in the insurance business), and almost all have Edmonton Alberta postmarks. Some of the covers have private cachets and most have block frankings. The lot also includes a note from Mr. Sadd indicating Unitrade #560 "Your Heart is Your Health" issue, first day cover dated April 3, 1972, four days before prior to the official first day as the Edmonton sub-post office releasing a few in error. A very interesting lot for the first day cover collector. Estimate =
