Note a group of six #10 covers from the Dominion Lands Office correspondence with the original notes from Dr. Donald Thompson in preparation of authoring his groundbreaking Assiniboia postal history reference book, "Emerging Saskatchewan". The lot also includes a group of 30+ Moosomin, N.W.T. split ring cancels on Small Queen stamps which was originally assembled by Norman Wagner (Dr. Thompson’s co-author) and sold through Robert Lee Auctions sale #113 as lot 1706.
