Stamp Album Frontispiece Illustration Goldmine. Ten different country types of the famous 1946-1947 period Arthur Szyk album title pages, with minor duplication. The lot consists of 18 pages in total with (in no particular order) USA x 2, Canada x 2, Israel, GB, Airmail, USSR x2, China x 2, Poland x 2, France x 3 and Switzerland x 2. A couple are in less than perfect condition but the vast majority are in brilliant and pristine condition. Astounding artwork, originally commissioned and promoted by Kasimir Bileski. While these will make spectacular frontispieces, they are also exceptionally well suited for matting and display as art. Estimate
