1949 Chinese Revolution/Communist China Mail Service Suspended. Interesting postal stationery Air Letter uprated with Newfoundland Stamp (valid after joining confederation) sent from Hamilton, Ontario on September 2nd 1949 to Shanghai, China. Mail service during this period was SUSPENDED due to the civil war between the Communist & National parties. Philatelic in nature (no contents) but still a very uncommon item. I have not seen another like it. Estimate
