VARIETIES & CANCELS. Quartet of 1841 issue imperf "Penny Reds" and one "Two Penny Blue" (added for good measure). The cancels on the Penny Red stamps are all premium cancels (listed in both Stanley Gibbons and Scott Classic catalogues), consisting of a Maltese Cross in blue (US$675.00), a CDS town postmark (US$825.00) a #1 Maltese Cross (US$185.00) and a #6 Maltese Cross (US$165.00). The stamp with the #1 Maltese Cross is also a premium SG listed constant plate variety (P turned into R, plate 33). The Two Penny is a regular stamp.
