Pioneer Airmail. The 1928 Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan special airmail flight to Winnipeg. This special flight, sponsored by the Moose Jaw Flying Club was their participation in the Winnipeg Flying Club’s aerial meet at Stevenson Flying Field in Winnipeg. The purpose (hope) of this flight was to promote the need for Air Mail service in Western Canada. Flown by Pilot H.C. Ingram. The cover is franked by CLP-7, of which there were only 200 stamps produced. There were only 161 covers flown. AAMC (American Air Mail Catalogue) Flight #PF-32.
