VF appearing used example of the extremely rare 1882 issue ONE POUND Victoria high value, brown lilac on bluish paper, watermark 31 (anchor). The stamp originally had a commercial perfin ("HSB" running vertically at left) that has been expertly filled in. Scott footnotes add a 25% premium for margins clear of design on all sides as well as a 50% premium for a clear circular datestamp.
