VF MNH lower right corner sheet margin block of ten of the 1949 issue 10c dark violet postage due (watermarked "Arms") with the lower left stamp in the block showing the constant and Unitrade listed "period after due" VARIETY (position 96). A great Newfie "Back of the Book" exhibit quality positional piece. The variety exists in two different places on the sheet of 100 as the lithographic stones were set up in blocks of 50.
