Large and interesting accumulation of Transvaal "Second Republic" issues, starting with the first issue of 1883, which resembles those of the "First Republic" issues, and then focusing on the "Coat of Arms" and "Wagon" issues of 1885-1897. Mostly used, with some mint scattered throughout. A good representation of overprints, including a couple inverted. Where there is duplication, it allows for a good opportunity to assess shade differences. Lots of interest here for the postmark collector, with several "Numeral" postmarks noted. Though sound cancelations generally confirm a genuine example, stamps from these issues are often reprints, so as always with stamps of Transvaal, use a discerning eye when looking over the scans.
