Primarily used collection of Great Britain on roughly 75 album or quadrille pages housed in a binder, ranging from 1840 to 1981. This collection has a little bit of everything beginning with a serviceable penny black with black Maltese Cross postmark (zero margins, Scott c.v. $375), and continues with roughly 60 Penny Reds (Scott #33, unchecked for better plates), along with a few other used Victorian issues, with strength from the 1880’s onwards, including a few mint hinged examples of a few Victorian, Edward VII, and King George V issues. The lot also includes a few examples of overprinted Officials, private overprints, a couple of used Seahorses, Offices Abroad, a few interesting covers, and more, noting a few stamps cataloguing $10 and up. We note a few small faults on a few of the early stamps, otherwise a fine to very fine lot. See our online photos for a representative sample of this offering. Estimate =
