Large collection / accumulation of mint and primarily used Great Britain, 1840's-2000's, containing a few thousand stamps, neatly organized by Scott number, in 6 Unisafe stockbooks. This potentially high cataloguing collection begins with roughly 350 used Victorian issues including a Penny Black (0-1 margins, SA letters, c.v. $375), Scott #s 3 (x4), 4 (x2), 27, 28, 32 (x8), 43, 44 (x5), 50, 51 (x4), 54, and much more, including a few revenues and officials. The lot continues with sets and partial sets of Edwards, George V-VI, with mint and a used set for many issues post 1935 up to the 1980s. A spot check indicated singles, sets, and partial sets cataloguing $20 to $45 and up, with an estimate of £50 to £75 of face value postage. Postmark interest includes several town cancels types, including a few socked on the nose. The lot includes a 64 page stockbook dedicated to Machin issues. Duplication ranges from 1 to 3 for some sets, and up to 10 or more for some single issues. A few small faults with a few of the early issues, still a nice lot for all collectors. Estimate =
